S: Yes.T: Let me show her photo to you . (Show a photo of my friend)Step 2 New words1. Present new words.T: Look, whos this man? Can you guess? (Show my picture to the students.)S: Is he a actor?T: Yes, he has short hair. Read after me, short hair, H-A-I-R, hair. S: H-A-I-R, hair.(Then show other pictures and teach the other new words in the same way such as “long hair, curly hair and straight hair.”)T:I have long, straight hair. What about you? (The teacher points at a student.)S1: I have short, straight hair.(The teacher asks some more students to practice.)T: Look at this man. He is a basketball player . He is very tall. Read after me, tall, T-A-L-L, tall.S: T-A-L-L, tall.(Teach the other new words in the same way such as “short, medium height, thin, heavy, medium build”.)2. Practice the new words.T: Look at 1a.
