Section A(1a-1c) 教学设计 一、教材分析:本节课为第七单元第一课时。它是围绕weather这个中心话题展开的多种教学活动。其主要语言功能项目: Hows the weather?,Whats the weather like?,目的是通过该句型的训练,让学生掌握描述天气状况的形容词并熟练谈论天气状况。二、教学目标:1.语言知识目标:1)词汇:weather,raining,windy,cloudy,sunny,snowing等描述天气的词汇.2)句型:Hows the weather? Its sunny/raining Whats the weather like in.? Its sunny/raining2.能力目标:运用所学的词汇和句型谈论不同城市的天气情况。3.情感目标:学会善于观察天气,善于调整自己的情绪;通过了解世界各地的天气情况,感受不同地区的气候差异。三、教学重难点:重点: 1、掌握本课所学的相关生词。 2、能够运用所学句型Hows the weather? Its sunny/raining.来进行交际。难点:如何用英语来询问天气和描述天气情况。四、教具:多媒体课件、音频等。五、教学方法:以学生为主体,以任务、游戏、讲练为主线,采用多媒体课件、运用“交流-互动”模式进行教学。六、教学步骤:Step1.warming up.(1min)Good morning, boys and girls. (Look outside)Its and today, isnt it? Do you know how to describe the weather? Ok, today were going to learn Unit7 Its raining.(Bb.)Step2.Presentation. (9mins)There is different weather in China, right? Please look at the pictures. Do you know these signs of weather? Teach the new words and read.Do a dictation of these new words. Ask a boy and a girl to write in blackboard. Have a PK game.Can you remember these signs now? OK, lets check it. Are you ready? Show the pictures to the Ss, let them speak the words out as quickly as possible. Step3. Pair work(5mins)T: OK, now Ill teach you how to ask and describe the weather.(Bb)Work in pairs to practice the sentence pattern.Hows the weather? Its sunny/rainingStep4. Presentation(8mins) There are too many big cities in the world, right? Now lets go to see some cities and the weather there. Show some pictures of Boston, Moscow, Toronto, Beijing and Shanghai and then ask Ss:”Hows the weather in Boston?”. Ss answer and practice it.Explain that“Hows the weather in .?”is equal to “Whats the weather like in.?”. Then practice it.Step5. Work on 1a.(2mins)Now please turn to page 37 .Match the words with the pictures.Step6. Work on 1b.(5mins)Listen to the conversations, pay attention to the key words “weather and cities”. Fill in the chart.Step7. Game.(5mins)T: Now lets have a PK game again. Challenge to the host.Ask a boy and a girl to the Bb to do a weather report.Step8.Summary.(2mins)What have we learnt today? Ask the Ss to summarize by themselves and then show the PPt.Step8. Exercises.(3mins)Say, now lets do some exercises.Step13.Homework.Homework for today.1.
