Section B 2a2c一、教学目标: 1. 语言知识目标: 能运用以下单词和短语: artist, crime, criminal, put, each, way, describe, differently, another, end, real ;a police artist, the same way, in the end, long straight brown hair 2. 能力目标:能描述人物相貌,学生能够通过学习对外貌的描述,学会具备判断是非,了解真相的能力。3. 情感态度价值观目标:帮助学生正确表述人物的相貌,学会具备判断是非,眼见不一定为实。二、教学重、难点:正确、熟练地描述人物相貌,培养一定的阅读能力。三、教学过程Step 1情景导入教师展示一警察图片说:“This is Joe brown. Whats his job?”学生回答:He is a policeman.教师接着说:Yes,he is a policeman, but he isnt the same as other policemen. He has an interesting job. He draws pictures of the criminals.(呈现罪犯图片) Do you want to know about his job? Today lets learn An Interesting Job.环节说明:创设情景导入新课,激发学生学习兴趣。Step2讲授新课1. 完成2aAsk some students say out the answers, the teacher explain the uses of short.2. 教授生词及短语通过展示与生词及短语相关的图片,如画家、犯罪活动、罪犯、戒指、放东西、找不同的图片、红军长征路线图等来教授artist, crime, criminal, real, put, differently, each, way等。 环节说明:通过图片教授生词、短语,直观形象、生动有趣,激发学生学习兴趣,学生易于理解、记忆。3. 描述人物相貌展示文章中描述的三个人的图片,让学生描述他们的相貌。环节说明:让学生练习正确、熟练地描述人物相貌,同时为下一环节作铺垫。4.听2b文章,找出哪幅图片是真正的罪犯教师播放音频,学生听并找出真正的罪犯。5.读文章,回答问题Whats Joe Browns job?What does Joe Brown do?Is his work easy or difficult?Why may people describe the same person differently?What does the real criminal look like?环节说明:通过回答问题等活动逐步提高学生的阅读能力,使学生对police artist 这一职业有了一定的了解。同时也使学生对本单元的语言目标有了更深刻的了解。6.认真阅读2b的短文,写出2c中的代词在2b短文中所指代的人或事。Show the skills of reading first, and ask a student to read, the other students listen and understand. The teacher explains. Then the students read the article again and write . (After a few minutes later, check the answers.)环节说明:通过这一环节训练了学生的阅读能力,使学生掌握了一定的阅读技能。Step3 要点探究The students work in groups to discuss how to translate the sentences below:1. Then Joe draws a picture of the criminal, and the police put it in newspapers and on television to find him. 2.
