Step2:Show some pictures and learn the new sentences and words: long、short、medium、height、straight、curly and so on. (about 12 minutes)What does she look like?Shes of medium height.What does she look like?She has long curly hair. Step 3: Finish 1a: Let Ss read and match the words with the people in the picture.(about 4minutes) Step4: Finish 1b:Let Ss listen and fill in the blanks. Before listening, ask Ss read and understand the meanings of this conversation. After listening, Ss can fill in the blanks and find Amys friend.(about 3minutes) Step5: Pair work: (about 8minutes)1. Show some pictures of famous people and let Ss ask and answer each other.2. Have a game: There are three students in a group. The first one stands in the front of the classroom and faces the blackboard; The second one describe the third one and let the first one guess: Who is the third one?Step6: Challenge yourself.
