(Teacher writes the names on the blackboard.) Which of these places would you like to visit? Rank them from 1 to 5.S4: Amusement park _, water park _, zoo _ aquarium _ space museum _.S5: Space museum _, aquarium _, zoo _, water park _, amusement park _S6: 2. Talk about the picture.Step 4 Listening1bListen again. Listen and check the boxes. Have these students ever been to these places? Check the answers.Step 5 Speaking 1cAsk and answer in pairs:A: Lets go somewhere different today.B: OK. Where do you want to go?A: Have you ever been to the space museum?B: No, I havent. How about you?A: Step 62aTell the students they will hear three conversations. Each conversation is about a different place on the map.Circle the places they hear.Play the recording the first time.Students only listen.Listen again.Ask students to circle places on the map.Check the answers.2bListen again.Ask students to circle”T” or”F” A after each statement.Step 72cAsk two students to read the dialogue in 2c.Have students work with their partners.Talk about where they have been and where they want to go .And talk about how they will get to these places.Have several pairs of students act out their conversations to the class. Step 8 Language points1. have been to “曾经去过”,说话时已不在去过的地方,常与ever, never, just等连用。后可接次数,如once, twice, three times等,表示“去过某地几次”。 Ihavebeenthere only once this year. 我今年只去过那儿一次。2. have gone to . 意为“去了某地”,表示到了某地或正在去某地的途中,总之说话时该人不在现场,一般不用第一、二人称作主语。 They have gone to Beijing. 他们已经去北京了。3. have been in . 表示“在某地待多长时间”,常与表示一段时间的状语连用。 I have been in Beijing for a week. 我在北京呆了一周。4. 英语中表示后者与前者情形相同“也 不”时,常用neither引起的倒装句。Neither+助动词/系动词be/情态动词+主语。如: Im not tall.
