Book6 Unit2 My favourite seasonA Lets learn教学设计一、 教学内容分析本课的教学内容是PEP小学英语五年级下册Unit2 My favourite season A lets learn部分。本单元围绕“季节”这一话题展开,学习如何描述季节情况。学完后学生能对季节情况进行询问,能根据季节情况确定相应天气及着装。本课是本单元的第一课时,主要学习一年四季的相关词汇及询问最喜欢的季节是什么。本单元在内容上与四年级下册第四单元有相同之处,描述天气情况的形容词如cool, cold, rainy, windy, snowy, cloudy, sunny等单词皆已出现过,因此教师在教学过程中应注意以旧引新,以不同形式反复呈现新知识,从而降低学习的难度。二、 教学目标1、能够听、说、读、写单词 seaon, spring, summer, fall, winter。2、能够使用句型:Which season do you like best? 提问并根据实际情况问答。3、了解四季天气植物特征。三、教学重难点1、重点:能正确书写五个名词season, spring, summer, fall, winter并运用句型Which season do you like best? “Whats the weather like in spring.?”进行问答。并了解各季节里做的活动。2、难点:听、说、读、写单词 spring, summer, fall, winter 和season四、教学准备课件、图片五、教学方法Phonics教学法,情境教学法,任务型教学法六、教学过程(一) Warming up1.Lets chant:Mmm! Its warm today! Take off your jacket!Phew! Its hot today! Put on your T-shirt!Oooh! Its cool today! Put on your sweater!Brrr! Its cold today! Put on your coat!Ss: Listen chant and do.2.Sharp Eyes(PPT提供一些关于这个单元的单词或词组,以激活学生的知识要点,并引导学生对单词或词组进行归纳。)【设计意图】:歌谣既激活了已有的知识,又活跃课堂气氛。通过sharp eyes这个活动复习有关天气和着装单词,为本课学习四季作铺垫。(二)Presentation1.以故事整体呈现本课时的新学内容。(1) Doraemon : Winter holiday is coming. I am going to take a big trip . I have four routes for you to choose. Our task today Make a dream trip on the holidayPPT显示四条旅游线路:Bangkok, Moscow, Sydney and Dongguan【设计意图】:提出本节课的任务:为自己设计一条梦想的旅游线路。(2)T: We know Doraemon has a magic pocket . Today he has an anydoor . It can take us to anywhere . (贴 Daxiong and Doraemon 在黑板上。)(3)Show a Movie: “Four Seasons in a Day?!” (老师用movie maker制作出来的小电影。该故事大概内容为大雄一家去曼谷渡假,由于天气太热通过任意门去了冬天的Moscow,春天的Sydney和秋天的Dongguan,通过不同季节城市的天气、人们所穿的衣服、人们的活动贯穿整个故事。)【设计意图】:以故事整体呈现本课时的新学内容。用到 “Four Seasons in a Day?!”故事激发学生学习的兴趣,调动学生的学习积极性。在将整堂课作为一个完整的演练过程,整堂课始终在创设的情景中进行语言教学和操练,学生身临其境,心理上自然,放松,且充满参与的热望,淡化了对新学词句的戒备感,每一个词句的学习最终均要归位到具体情景的交际活动中去,给学生一个完整而明确的认识。通过音图文看故事,让学生感知并理解故事文本,了解一年四季。2. 渗透Phonics教学单词,并交际运用单词。(1) season: s-ea-s-o-nT: How many seasons are there in a year?Ss: Four.(2) spring: spr-ing, T: Spring is green. Whats the weather like in spring? What can you see in spring? What clothes can you wear in spring? What can you do in spring? Do you like spring?Ss: Its in spring. I can in spring.(3) summer: s-u-mm-erT: Summer is bright. Whats the weather like in summer? What can you see in summer? What clothes can you wear in summer? What can you do in summer? What do you think of summer?Ss: Its in summer. I can in summer.(4) fall: f-allT: Fall is golden. Whats the weather like in fall? What can you see in fall? What clothes can you wear in fall? What can you do in fall? Do you like fall?Ss: Its in fall. I can in fall.(5) winter: w-in-t-erT: Winter is white. Whats the weather like in winter? What can you see in winter? I can in winter.【设计意图】:渗透Phonics教学单词,学生能更容易地把单词的音和形记下来。教师用丰富的问题导学,让学生都能在一个整体的语境中学习单词,操练单词,与生活实际相联系,从而达到语言的交际。3.Practice(1)lets play a game: Guess! What season is it? Its sunny and hot. The trees are green. People can swim and wear the vests and shorts. ( summer)Its sunny and warm. The trees are green. The flowers are colourful. How beautiful! People can plant trees and fly kites. ( fall )【设计意图】:猜一猜的游戏活动,既能激活了学生的思维及学习的兴趣,同时,使学生在不知不觉中进行大量语言输入,为后面的语言输出作好铺垫。(2) Talk about the seasons.(整体运用单词,师生进行语言交际)T: Great! You did a good job. Well, how many seasons are there in a year?Ss: Four.T: What are they?Ss: Spring, summer, fall( autumn) and winter.T: Whats the weather like in spring summer fall( autumn) winter?Ss: Its warm hot cool cold.T: What can you see wear do in spring summer fall( autumn) winter?Ss: I can.【设计意图】:让学生围绕“季节”拓展思维,大胆说出一年四季的天气,衣着,活动,与生活相联系,不仅为学生巩固单词和运用相关句型打下了基础,也活跃了课堂气氛。(3)Make a survey. (整体运用单词,生生交际进行小组活动)T: Great! Different season has different weather, people can do different things. My favourite season is spring. Ask and answer in groups and make a survey.Nameseasonweatherclothesactivity【设计意图】:语言的首要功能是交际,而交际的真正场所不仅仅是在虚拟的课堂情景中,无论是听懂的要求,还是会说的要求,归根结底,都是为了服务于实际生活的需要。让学生在课堂上无所顾虑地说,毫无障碍地演,是实现语言应用于现实生活的前提。运用任务型教学法让学生用所学的英语完成任务,让学生在真实的情景中练习英语,培养了学生良好的口语交际能力。这体现了新课程标准所倡导的发展学生语言运用能力的目的。(4)Group work: Make a picture book of our dream trip.选择自己小组最喜欢的旅游城市,根据这个城市现有的季节,从地点、季节、衣服、活动四个方面,通过制作一个小组picture book的形式展示出自己的旅游线路(教师事先把城市、季节、天气、衣服、活动等小彩色图片贴在教室周围的展板上,并且在课前把空白的A4纸发给每个小组,A4纸上提供了一些key words让学生参考来介绍自己设计的trip plan)T: A good plan is a good beginning. When we want to visit different cities in the world, we must make a good trip plan.I will teach you how to do a good trip plan. And then lets make a colourful trip plan together. 【设计意图】:让学生四人小组来设计一本小组的picture book , 学生会根据老师的示范做指导,老师提供的插图,加上自己的文字描述,因为自己最喜欢的季节,所以想去到某个地方旅行,做出来图文并茂的Picture book ,并给全班加以展示。在这个任务的履行过程中,学生以参与、体验、互动、交流、合作的学习方式,充分发挥学习者自身的认知能力,调动他们已有的目的语资源,在实践中感知、认识、应用目的语,在“干”中学,“用”中学,真正地使用语言。(三) Homework(二选一)1. 把今天在课堂上学到的故事用英语讲给父母听;2. 以My Family Trip Plan为主题设计一本picture book【设计意图】:分层且易操作的作业,能满足不同层次学生的需求,提高作业的有效性。七.
