Unit4 When is Easter? A Lets talk教学设计一、教材分析这是本单元的第一课时。Lets try为与本课主题相关的听力练习。Lets talk为交际对话，通过Mr Jones和张鹏就四月份两个特殊的日子愚人节和复活节日期进行对话的情景，来学习如何询问并回答某节日的日期。二、学情分析在五年级下册Unit3中，学生已经学习过月份的单词和某些节日的表达方式，本节课将在此基础上学习如何询问并回答某节日的具体日期。三、教学目标1. 能够完成Lets try。2. 能够理解Lets talk大意；能够按照正确的语音、语调朗读对话，并能进行角色表演。3. 能够在情景中运用句型When is ? Its on 询问并回答某节日的日期。4. 能够在语境中理解生词special的意思，并能正确发音。5. 培养学生灵活运用语言的能力。6. 培养学生感恩母亲，珍惜时间的情感。四、教学重难点1. 重点：在情景中运用句型When is ? Its on 询问并回答某个活动在哪个月举行。2. 难点：special发音。五、教学过程Step 1: Warm-up1. Greeting.2. Sing a song :The twelve months，。3. Games: Memory Challenge，利用大转盘复习月份类、节日类单词。设计意图：通过歌曲复习12个月份营造轻松民主的学习范围，能够极大的调动学生的积极性。，同时利用大转盘游戏复习句型When is-?Its in -.的句型，为本课新知识学习做了铺垫。Step 2：Presentation1. Lets try(1) T:Look at the picture,please guess :Where is ZhangPeng?What is he doing? Ss: ZhangPeng is practising running on the playground. .(2) T:Mr Jones is talking to him,which months are they talking about? Listen and tick ,please. Ss:Listen to the tape and choose the months. T:Which months are they talking about? Ss:They are talking about April.(3) T:Listen to the tape again and answer these questions: What day is the sports meet?What does Mr Jones say to ZhangPeng?设计意图：通过Lets try的听力活动训练学生根据问题获取主要信息的能力，并能从中初步感知新的语言结构，未进入Lets talk学习做好准备，同时在语境中理解Good Luck的含义。2. Lets talk(1) T:Look at the picture carefully and answer these two questions: What can you see in the picture? Guess:What are they talking about?答案为： School calendar，April Fools Day and Easter Maybe theyre talking about April Fools Day and Easter.设计意图：通过观察图片，唤醒学生的生活经验。以问题为导向，让学生在学习过程中实现与教师、教材文本之间的对话和互动。采用递进式提问方法，帮助学生从整体到细节层层剖析图片及文本，理解对话含义。(2) T:：There are some special days in April. For example: April Fools Day and Easter. （special为新词，教师需解释其意思并注意学生的发音）T:Now lets watch the cartoons and then answer the questions. What are the special days in April?Answers： April Fools Day and Easter.(3)Listen to the tape again and answer two questions.When is April Fools Day? When is Easter?Answers：Its on April 1st .Its on April 5th .(4) Ask and answer in pairs.设计意图：机械的操练可以让每个学生都开口对话，并得到教师单独纠正语音的机会，使学生准确读熟语音语调又能记熟句型。(5) Look at the picture about Easter. Easter is an important holiday in many countries. Its on April 5th this year. People will colour beautiful eggs and hide them. 接着指导学生看图描述：Kids will find the eggs and put them into baskets. Many people go to church on Easter Sunday. People like to eat a meal together. It is a wonderful holiday.T:Do you like Easter?Ss:Yes.T:I like,too.设计意图：让学生了解更多关于复活节的知识，加深了学生对复活节文化的认识，激发了学生对西方文化的热情和兴趣。了解跨文化知识，真正成为自觉的跨文化学习者。(6)Imitate the tapeListen to the tape carefully and read after it. Talk about the holidays with your partner.T:Finish the matching,connect the picture with the date.(1) 学生自主将图片和节日以及相应的日期连线，师生一起核对答案。(2) 请两位学生站起来示范读对话。设计意图：对学生以学知识的掌握进行简单的测试，为学生能够自如的对话做好语言铺垫。3、Make a new dialogue.(1) T:Please make a new dialogue like this ,talk about your favourite festivals.Do it like this:教师在课件上出示今年五月的日历，标示出两个特殊的节日（May Day 和Mothers Day），挖空的语音框架，要求学生创编新对话，对话示例如下：S1: There are some special days in _.S2: What are they?S1: _.S2: When is _?S1: Its on _.
