Teaching Aids: Multi-media, USB flash disk and recorder.Teaching Methods: Task-Based Language Teaching, and Communicative Language Teaching.Teaching Procedures:Step1. Lead-in: 1)Sharp eyes Help the students to review the words: spring, summer , autumn , winter. 2) Look and sayT: How many seasons are there in a year? Ss:There are four seasons.T:Which season do you like best?Ss:I like _ best.T: Whats the weather like in . ?Ss: Its _ and _.Step2. Presentation1. Use some pictures to teach new phrases. At the same time, the teacher helps students to practice the sentence pattern. T: What can you do in spring? I can go on a picnic.go on a picnic means “去野餐”. Read after me, go on a picnic, go on a picnic. (Have the students repeat the word and the sentences. ) Ss: go on a picnic, go on a picnic. T: What can you do in spring? Ss: What can you do in spring? T: I can go on a picnic.Ss: I can go on a picnic. T: Next, What can you do in summer? Ss: . The teacher teaches other new words and guides the students to practice the sentence pattern in this way. Step3. Lets learn1. Teach Ss to read “ Lets learn ” and make sure Ss understand it. 2. Help the students consolidate the phrases and sentence patterns with the help of some activities, such as looking and say, looking and match, whats missing and completing the dialogues. Divide students into two groups, if the students answers are right in which group, and the group will get one score, which group get the highest scores is the winner. Step4. Consolidation 1. Read and understanding: Lead Ss to read the words and sentences in “ Ask and answer ”, and explain it. 2. Ask Ss to complete dialogues with the words and the sentence pattern according to the given pictures. 3. Give the students a model conversation once more and practice it with them. Then get the students to make own conversations with the given model structure and practice them in pairs.4. Ask some students to come to the blackboard to present their conversations in front of the class.Step5. Summing up & emotional education1.
