Unit 2 My Favourite Season一、单元教学目标能力目标1. 能够用Whats your favourite season? Which season do you like best? I like summer best. Why do you like?Because I can 就所喜欢的季节及原因进行问答。2. 能够用Whats the weather like in(season)? Sunny and hot. I can等表达不同季节的天气特征和可以进行的活动。3. 能够理解并操练Lets find out. Lets play. Group work等部分内容。能了解Story time部分的内容。4. 能够听懂会唱歌曲“Whats your favourite season?”.知识目标1. 能够听、说、读、写Lets learn部分的四会单词和词组。2. 能够听、说、读、写Read and write部分的粗体字句子。3. 能够了解Pronunciation部分的air, ear, sp, sk字母组合的发音规则,并能正确读出例词。4. 能够看懂Good to know内容,了解有关全球天气差异的常识。情感、策略、文化等有关目标1. 情感态度:让学生有兴趣用英语表达,能积极参与课堂活动。2. 学习策略:引导学生注重小组合作,培养沟通和交流的能力。3. 文化目标:让学生了解有关全球天气差异的常识。二、单元内容分析本单元重点是问答最喜欢哪个季节并且陈述原因,主要句型是Which season do you like best? Whats your favourite season? Why do you like? Because I can难点是要求掌握短语和四会句子。本单元内容与四下第四单元相关,很多描述天气的单词已经出现过,因此,要注意以旧引新,以不同形式呈现新内容,从而降低学生学习的难度。 三、教学重难点1重点:是问答最喜欢哪个季节并且陈述原因,主要句型是Which season do you like best? Whats your favourite season? Why do you like? Because I can2难点:掌握短语和四会句子。四、学情分析学生在四年级下册的第四单元已经学习了关于天气的单词和某些句型,这些都为新知识的学习打下了基础,因此在学习新知识的时候可以以旧引新,以不同形式呈现新内容,从而降低学生学习的难度。五、教学安排六课时第一课时:Lets start Lets chant A lets learn Lets find out第二课时:A Lets try Lets talk Make a survey C Lets sing第三课时:A Read and write Lets play C Pronunciation Lets check第四课时:B Lets learn Group work C Good to know 第五课时:Main scene B Lets try Lets talk Lets find out C Story time 第六课时:B Read and write Lets find out C Task time 第一课时一、教学内容Lets start Lets chant A lets learn Lets find out二、教学目标与要求知识目标1. 能够听、说、读、写单词:spring, summer, fall, winter, season.2. 能够听、说、认读句型:Whats your favourite season? 和Whats the weather like in?3. 知识点:能掌握询问最喜欢什么季节的句型Whats your favourite season?能力目标1. 能够运用句型Whats your favourite season? 和Whats the weather like in?进行问答。2. 能理解并说唱Lets chant 部分的歌谣。3. 能按指令完成Lets find out中的任务,画图并进行对话。情感目标关注四季变化,热爱大自然。三、教学重、难点分析本课时的教学重点1. 听、说、读、写五个名词:spring, summer, fall, winter, season.2. 运用句型Whats your favourite season? 和Whats the weather like in?进行问答。本课时的教学难点听、说、读、写单词spring, summer, fall, winter, season.四、学情分析此时正值冬末春初,世间万物正在悄然发生着变化。引导学生观察身边天气的变化,并用英语表达出来,学生对四季的学习必然热情高涨。同时充分利用已学过的四年级下册Whats the weather like?与五年级上册Whats your favourite ? 等句子,温故而知新,引出新知识。五、教具准备教师准备课件,春、夏、秋、冬四季的单词卡,录音机、磁带。学生每人准备一套彩笔。六、教学步骤一、Warming up/Revision(热身/复习)1.情绪热身: Lets chant:Mmm! Its warm today! Take off your jacket!Phew! Its hot today! Put on your T-shirt!Oooh! Its cool today! Put on your sweater!Brrr! Its cold today! Put on your coat!2. 划分小组Boys and girls, lets get into two groups: Team boys and Team girls. If you do a good job, you can get a leaf or a piece of snow. Now lets have a match. Can you win?3.复习(1)Boys and girls, what are you wearing today? Are you cold? Look out of the window. Whats the weather like today?(2)My favourite food is mutton. (板书spring) Whats the weather like in spring?(利用课件展示小草发芽,鲜花盛开,冰雪融化,小溪流水等精美图片。让学生体验和感受春天。)操练:通过有感情的朗读来练习单词spring.(把对春天的热爱之情读出来。)引导学生拼读。1.学习:summer.I like spring. But do you know my favourite season. Whats my favourite season? Can you guess? Just listen:(利用课件播放蝉和青蛙的叫声。)Its summer. (二)Lets start1. 用简笔画呈现四季,让学生回答:Whats the weather like in this picture? 复习巩固有关天气的形容词。2. 出示标有重要城市的世界地图,指导学生两人一组运用句型:whats your favourite season? Because its完成Lets start中问答与填表任务。(三)Lets chant播放Lets chant部分的录音,教师配合肢体语言反复出示相应的图片、词卡与Lets chant中语句对应,帮助学生理解,然后让学生跟录音说唱歌谣。(四)趣味操练1. Guessing game.请一位同学到前面用肢体语言来表达自己最喜欢的季节,其他同学猜,猜对者上前表演,游戏继续。2对错碰碰乐。两队各派一个代表在前,把春、夏、秋、冬四季的单词卡两套打乱顺序反扣在讲桌上。同学们一齐问:两个代表分别回答,然后抽取词卡给大家看。如果不一致,游戏继续。最先说的与词卡相同的队获胜。三、Consolidation and extension(巩固与拓展)(一)Read, fill in the blanks and match. Spring , its warm and sunny。在这个环节,适时加入Whats your favourite season?的另一种说法Which season do you like best?扩大学生的知识面。总体来看,教学效果是较好的。不过,本节课设计的内容较多,活动手册环节应该放在下一节,致使课堂时间显得十分紧张,有的环节省略了。主要是考虑不周,应该注意。第二课时一、教学内容A Lets try Lets talk Make a survey C Lets sing二、教学目标与要求知识目标1. 能够听懂、会说并能在合适的情景中运用句型:Which season do you like best?2. 能够听懂Lets try部分的录音,并将人物与季节正确连线。3. 能够看懂Make a survey的指示语,并完成调查任务。4. 知识点:能掌握which的用法;理解最高级best的意思;知道情态动词can后跟动词原形。能力目标1. 能够根据所喜欢的季节及原因进行问答,如:Which season do you like best? Fall. Its sunny and cool.2. 能够听懂、会唱歌曲:Whats your favourite season?情感目标引导学生进行小组合作学习,增强沟通、交流的能力。三、教学重、难点分析本课时的教学重点句型:Which season do you like best? 及其答语。本课时的教学难点使学生准确自然地运用句型:Which season do you like best? 陈述喜欢以及不喜欢某个季节的理由。四、学情分析学生在上节英语课已经学会了四季单词,学习热情比较高。本节课让学生在新句型中套用单词,既巩固了生词,又锻炼了学生实际运用能力。可让学生以小组为单位进行练习。 五、教具准备录音机和磁带、卡通人物头像、四季教学卡片、单词和句型卡片。六、教学步骤一、Warming up/Revision(热身/复习)1. 情绪热身(1)播放本单元的Lets chant,让学生跟唱。(2)播放C Lets sing,让学生一边欣赏一边复习巩固生词。(3)猜谜游戏。学生自愿到前面,用句子、单词和肢体语言表演,让其他人猜测是哪个生词。2. 划分小组把学生以spring, summer, fall, winter命名分成四队,分别以柳树叶子、太阳光线、苹果和雪花作为评价工具。3. 复习(1)spelling game.(拼写游戏)每队一份打乱顺序的spring, summer, fall, winter, season五个单词的字母卡片,在最短时间内排列正确的为胜。(2)Free talk.学生以四人小组为单位展示自己画的四季图片,学生之间进行对话。如:S1: Whats your favourite season?S2: Summer.S1: Whats the weather like in summer?S2: Its hot.二、Presentation/Practice(新课呈现/操练)(一)Lets try. 1.教学:Which season do you like best?There are four seasons in a year. Because I can.教学难点:在实际的情境中运用句型表达喜好和原因。教具准备:教材配套课件教材相配套的教学录音带 单词卡片学生提供有关自己喜欢的季节做喜欢事的照片教学过程:(一)热身复习(Warm-up/Revision)活动一:猜一猜 孩子通过动作的形式表演fly kites, swim,等。孩子提问Guess: What am I doing?其它孩子猜出相关单词教师出示词卡,复习单词的认读活动二:说一说教师询问一名学生Which season do you like best? 学生:I like spring. 教师提问:What do you usually do in spring? 学生回答:I often fly kites.学生在小组中进行问答练习,在练习中充分运用第
