Unit 3 My school calendarPart B Read and write 三屯营小学 王秀苹教材分析:本节课选自人教版小学五年级英语下册第3单元B部分的Read and write,本单元的主题是校历。本节课分为读、写两部分,第一部分要求学生能够在图片的帮助下读懂请柬,完成读后句子正误判断活动,第二部分要求学生能够参考例词,写出含有核心句型的三个句子。 学情分析:五年级学生学习英语已经将近三年了,对英语并不陌生,有一定的英语基础,但学生对于本课内容的学习还是有些难度的。此学期,教师要求学生提前预习新学内容,因此,学生对要学内容已有所了解。五年级学生口语薄弱,教师将把课堂还给学生,让学生通过大量的口语练习,提高口语技能。教学内容:Unit 3 Part B Read and write 教学目标:1、学生能够在图片的帮助下读懂请柬,完成读后判断正误的活动。 2、能够参考例句,根据所设定的情景,写出含有核心句型的三个句子。 3、综合运用本单元的核心句型。重点难点:1、 在图片的帮助下读懂请柬。2、正确写出含有核心句型的三个句子。教学准备1、 PPT、教师自制的单词卡片。2、一枚彩蛋。教学过程:Step 1 Warm-up1、 T:Good morning, boys and girls, do you know your birthdays?2、Lets chantT:Now, let chant and do.教师播放 When is my birthday 让学生边说唱边做动作。课堂热身,活跃课堂气氛。Step 2 Presentation。1、 Pre-readingT: Boys and girls, do you like games? 板书We will play a guessing game.呈现核心句型。学习新单词game,并把单词卡片贴黑板上。教师通过PPT展示四个谜语。The first one, its a season,there are four seasons in a year, they are spring, summer, autumn and winter. Its warm and rainy, we can fly kites. What is it? 引导学生回答spring.The second one, its a kind of food, we can eat it for breakfast, it is small and ellipse. What is it? 引导学生回答an egg. The third one, it is a kind of animals, it has long ears and red eyes. What is it? 引导学生回答rabbit. T: we can also call it bunny.学习新单词bunny, 把单词卡片贴在黑板上。The last one, spring, egg and bunny, what is it? 引导学生回答Easter.2、 In-reading(1)T: They will have an Easter holiday, “holiday” means “vacation”。 学习新单词holiday,把单词卡片贴在黑板上。T: On the holiday, they will have an Easter party, Robin wrote an invitation for the Easter party, before read the invitation, we will see two questions.(用课件出示两个问题。)T: Take out your books, turn to page 29, read the invitation and find the answers, go.让学生带着问题读请柬。T:Finished?lets see the questions. The first one, Why do they have an Easter party?引导学生回答问题,在原文中找到问题答案 WHY: Easter holiday. 及时评价学生。T: The second one, Where is the party held? 引导学生在原文中找到问题答案WHERE: Wu Yifanhome.(2) T: Read the invitation and finish those questions in your books, tick or cross. Go.学生细读后。T: Have you finished? We will check your answers. The first one, The Easter party is on March 23rd. Tick or cross? 找学生回答,用课件出示课文内容,在原文中找到答案,并请学生读原文中正确答案的句子。T: The date of Easter is not the same day in different years. For example, in 2015, the Easter is on April 5th. (用课件出示2005年复活节日历。)用相同的方法依次解决另外几个问题。T: At the Easter party, we can do many other things, look at the board, (用课件出示吃巧克力的图片) What are those? They are brown, sweet.(引导学生说出巧克力) we will eat chocolate eggs.学习新单词chocolate, 把单词卡片贴在黑板上。 Look at the board, (用课件出示滚彩蛋和复活节兔子的图片,并做滚彩蛋的动作教授新单词roll) We will roll Ester eggs. You will meet the Easter Bunny. 请学生读句子。用课件出示找彩蛋的图片并做找彩蛋的动作,学习新单词“look for”. 找学生读句子。 T: Will you come to the party? Robin doesnt know whether you will come or not, so he asked will you come to the party? Please send me an email at by March 23rd, “by” means “before”, not “after”.T: In America, people receive invitations, they will tell the hosts whether they will come or not, this is RSVP.T: Now, I think it is the right time for us to read like Robin. 用课件出示课文内容,并分句播放录音,让学生模仿。 3. Post-reading 小组内读课文。 T:I will give you three minutes to read the invitation in pairs. Go.学生读完后找不同小组的学生读课文,并及时评价学生。 4. Writing T: look at the picture,(课件出示生日聚会的图片) they are having a birthday party. How happy! If I have a birthday party, I will dance, I will play games, I will sing the birthday song, I will make a wish, 课件出示各种活动的照片并在板书核心句型I will dance, I will make a wish.T: What will you do if you have a birthday party? 学生回答生日聚会时想做什么。T: You are so great! Write down you answers on your books, OK?学生用核心句型写下句子。T: Finished? Who can come here to read your answers? Who can?学生到教室前读句子,并及时给予评价、鼓励。Step 4 Sum-up活动方式:学生在教师的指导下进行课堂小结。重点句型:We will . I will新授单词短语:game bunny chocolate roll look forStep 5 HomeworkF
