Property: Projection, Bb, pictures.Teaching process:Step I. Opening: Lets chant.Sing a song named “Boys and Girls”.Step II. Greetings: Hello, boys and girls! Hello, Miss Chen! Nice to meet you! Nice to meet you, too! How are you? Im , thank you!Step III. Leading:T: Class, we have a new friend today. He is Zoom. Hello, Zoom, where are you?S: Hi, Im here. Nice to meet you! Im from Canada. I have a gift for you.T: Thank you. Bye!Step IV. Presentation:1. New words: a. Show Ss the gift Zoom gives me and ask Ss if they want to have a look whats in it. Then look at the screen and lets learn them. b. Read one word and let Ss say it again and again, then I take out fruit and write the words in blank. c. Check Ss to say it and let one student put the fruit on the tree on Bb and teach us to read again.2. Simple number and plural number: a. Show Ss one pear and ask them:” How many pears?” Then let Ss say:” One pear.” Show Ss four pears and ask then again:” How many pears?” Guide Ss to answer:” Four pears.” Pay more attention to “pears”. b. Show Ss one orange and five oranges. Teach Ss Simple number and plural number with same method. c. Put many kinds of fruits on the screen and encourage Ss to read them. Ill correct their pronunciations.3. Sentence structure: a. Show Ss my favorite fruit and tell Ss:” I like pears. HmmIt tastes good.” Guide Ss to talk about what fruit they like and pay attention to the plural numbers. b. Look at the screen and let Ss guess what fruit Chenjie likes and what fruit Wuyifan likes. Read the sentence structure after me several times.4. Les play: Ask Ss to take out their paper and makers and draw their favorite fruit. 1 minute later, let some Ss come to Bb and show us their work. They can also tell us:” I like_. HmmIt tastes good.”5. Sentence patterns: a. Tell Ss: “I like pears. Do you like pears?” Guide Ss to answer me: “Yes I do.” or “No I dont.” Say the sentence patterns after me several times then, check Ss to answer my question” Do you like_?” b. I put on my sunglass and tell Ss :”Im a superstar.” Ask Ss to ask me questions “Do you like_?”c. Work in pairs. Let Ss ask and answer with their partners about what fruit they like. Then encourage several pairs to come to Bb and show us their dialogues. Lets have a look which pair is the best. d. Lets chant. Read it after me and try to act it with me. Then boys and girls will have a competition to act this chant.Step V. Practice:1. Take out our books and turn to page 41. I turn on the tape-recorder and let Ss listen and read the words on the book.2. Learn a song “An Apple a Day.” Stand up and sing it again loudly.Step VI.
