中考复习数词分类：数词有基数词和序数词两种。 一、基数词的构成( one,two,three,four-) hundred，thousand，million，billion表达数量1前面有具体的数词（或several ），不能在它们的后面加s。如： six hundred students， 一百万棵树_2. 前面没有具体数字时用复数表示“成上”, 后面必须要有of,如hundreds of students , some thousands of tourists二、序数词的构成数字 序数词变化规则例词1、2、3不规则变化 first第一; second第二third第三4-19 基数词词尾加th 特殊fifth第五,eighth第八,ninth第九,twelfth第十二 fourth第四nineteenth第十九 20、30 90 ty变为tie再加th twentytwentieth第二十ninetyninetieth第九十两位数或多位数整数除外只变个位数 (hundred, thousand等只在词尾加th) one hundred and fifty-ninth 第一百五十九hundredth 第一百 写出对应的序数词one _ two _ three _ four _ five _eight _ nine_ twelve_ twenty _ thirty-one _hundred_ ninety_ eight-five_【温馨提示】 (1)序数词要加定冠词the但若序数词前有形容词性物主代词或名词所有格时省略the。例如 Tom made the mistake for the third time. = It was Toms third time to make the mistake. 这是汤姆第三次出错。 (2)序数词前加a/an表示“又一再一”。例如 Even though the Greens have 3 children, they still want a fourth one. 尽管格林夫妇已有3个孩子可他们还想再要一个。 (3) 序数词可以用阿拉伯数字和序数词拼写的最后两个字母简写。例如1st第一2nd第二3rd第三4th第四。 三、数词的应用 1分数的表达：分子用基数词，分母用序数词，分子大于“1”，分母则加“s”如：13 one third，23 two thirds； 另外：12 a（one）half; 14 one fourth或a（one）quarter; 34 three fourths或three quarters。 Attention:Two-fifths of the students in our class _ (be) girls.
