六年级第二学期Module 4 Stories and Fables备课课时教学内容第一课时Unit10 Dialogue(1)第二课时Unit10 P45 Story “Waiting for another hare”第三课时Unit10 Work With Language , Fun with language第四课时Unit 11 Text第五课时Unit 11 Work With Language第六课时Unit 11 Sound Families & Fun with language 第七课时Unit 12 Lets Go Further Unit 10 Waiting for Another Hare 第2课时 一、教学内容分析:Unit 10主要内容分为借书用语和寓言故事两部分。而本课时的教学内容是一篇中国古代寓言故事,教学内容趣味性较强,又具有一定的教育意义。 二、学生情况分析: 本班学生英语基础不扎实,学困生较多。男女同学各占一半,女同学对英语学习较积极,但男同学兴趣不大,甚至有厌学现象,运用英语进行听、说、读、写的能力有待加强。学生喜欢生动有趣的学习方式,乐于和他人通过合作进行学习。 三、教学策略: 学校简陋,没有现代化教学设备。根据本课的教学目标和我班学生的特点,开展形式多样的教学活动。通过大量的口头操练为学习新知识垫下基础。采取小组合作的教学方法,激发学生的学习兴趣,争取更好的课堂效果。四、教学目标:(一)语言知识目标:1、掌握本课单词和短语(单词:field, suddenly, hare, ground, certainly, himself;短语:pick up, from then on, any more, all day long, wait for);2、能理解并能在key words的协助下复述整个故事。(二)语言技能目标:1、能简单复述或表演课文中的故事。2、通过对寓言故事的学习,培养同学连贯说英语的能力。(三)思想情感目标:1、通过合作学习,培养合作精神。2、懂得只有通过努力才能有所收获的道理。(四)学习策略目标:小组合作学习,发展学生的听说读写能力。(五)文化意识目标:让同学更好地了解中国的寓言故事用英语是怎样表达。五、教学重、难点:教学重点:复述寓言故事。教学难点:理解句子“To pick up a hare is certainly easier than to work in the fields.” 六、教学过程(一)热身、复习1、Lets Chant:(自编小诗)Borrow me the book! Borrow me the book!OK!OK!Lend you the book. How long may I keep it? How long may I keep it? Two weeks. Two weeks.2、Free talk.T:May I borrow your book ? How long can I keep it ? Can I write on the book?T: What day was yesterday ? What did you do yesterday ? Did you read fables?3、复习动词过去式am/is, run, fall, die, pick, take, cook, do/does, sit, wait.(二)呈现与操练1、呈现课题Unit 10 Waiting for Another HareT:Can you tell the story in English ? Now, We will learn the story.2、Listen to the tape recorder.A、呈现重点句,让学生认真听课文录音,初步感知寓言故事,让学生小组合作按事情发生的顺序排列。 (呈现错乱句子;发下每生一张错乱句子,学生看,听故事;小组完成;评)( 2 )Suddenly a hare ran very fast and crashed into a tree.( 1 )One day a farmer was working in the fields. (设计意图:充分给学生一次全面理解、认知课文的机会,同时让他们有一次语言输入的机会,为下面的环节做好充分的准备。)C、打开书本45页,tell story教、学新单词,板书部分故事句子。(单词:field, suddenly, hare, ground, certainly, himself;短语:pick up, from then on, any more, all day long, wait for) (设计意图:老师边讲故事边结合图画与动作教新单词,一来可以让学生整体认知,二来可以帮助学生理解单词的含意与用法。同时也为每个学生都轻松容易地掌握句型。)操练较难理解的句子:“To pick up a hare is certainly easier than to work in the fields.”(投影)引导学生说出:“To speak Chinese is certainly easier than to speak English.” “To say is certainly easier than to do.” “To _is certainly easier than to _.” “To_ is certainly easier than to_.” (设计意图:充分给学生一个学习语言的机会,同时培养学生大胆开口说英语.) 3、小结寓意。教师鼓励同学说出本故事的寓意和看法,然后教师小结:做事不要抱着侥幸的心理和想着坐享其成。No pains no gains . Dont wait for another hare. Go for it.(设计意图:检查同学是否能从故事中明白了一些做人的道理。培养他们良好的生活与学习习惯。) 4、小结新单词、短语。(读板书)(三)巩固操练.1、(跟机读)Read the story and answer the questions. 朗读完课文之后,学生回答书本45页3的问题。 a. How did the hare die ?b.Did the farmer eat the hare? c.Did the farmer work any more after he picked up the hare? d.Do you think he could pick up another hare?(设计意图:通过朗读,加大同学的语言输入量。解答问题是检查学生是否对课文理解。)2、Try to tell the story with the key words.A 老师给出提示词:(第一次提示词多点,第二次减少提示词)One day a farmer was _ in the_.
