Unit 6 Im watching TV 教学设计 调兵山市第三中学 王 进一、教学目标:1.知识目标:(1)能掌握以下单词和短语:newspaper, use, soup, wash,movie,read a newspaper, make soup, go to the movies 等。(2)能掌握以下句型: What are you doing? Im watching TV. Whats heshe doing? HesShes using the computer. What are they doing? Theyre listening to a CD.2.能力目标:掌握语法现在进行时态的用法。能运用所学的知识,描述人们正在干的事情。3.情感目标:通过对本单元的学习活动,能培养学生学习英语的强烈兴趣,善于发现生活中正在发生的事情,积极思考,乐于助人,乐于参加各种活动的积极情感,培养学生团结合作的精神。二、教学重难点1. 教学重点: 词汇、词组搭配和现在进行时的用法,如: doing homework, using the computer, watching TV, having dinner 等。2. 教学难点:现在进行时中现在分词的结构及读音,能在交际中准确地运用现在进行时来描述或表达正在进行的动作。三、教学步骤Step One: Greeting问候导入T: Good morning, everyone! How are you? Ss:T: Today well learn Unit 6 Im watching TV. Are you watching TV now? Ss:T: I am standing. What are you doing? Ss:T: I am teaching English. What are you doing? Ss: So clever! Today well talk about the things people are doing.Step Two: Presentation新知呈现1. Teach the new words and phrases by showing pictures.T: Look at the first picture, what is he doing? Ss: He is T: Yes, youre right. Hes reading. Reading, reading, he is reading. Lead to read the new words and phrases by showing the pictures.2. Drill the new vocabulary by various activities, such as look and say quickly. Step three: Practice活动练习1. Play a game.Rules: Teacher shows many phrases on the whiteboard. Every group chooses two students to come here. One acts, the other guesses. The other students must listen and watch carefully and count how many activities they can guess. The time is one minute. The group which guesses the more phrases is the winner.2. Do 1a and 1b3. Read the conversation, and work in pairs, one asks, the other answers according to the pictures.Step Four: Summary 总结概括1. Ss discuss in group: the function and form of the present progressive tense, then report in class.2. T sums up the use of the present progressive tense and the past tense of verbs.3. Practice: write the past tense of verbs.Step Five: Extension 拓展应用1. Ss work in groups: Use the present progressive tense to describe the things people are doing in the pictures.
