Part 1 Teaching Material: The content of my lesson is New Senior English for China Students Book5 Unit 1 Great Scientists. This unit is about great scientists, including some scientists both at home and abroad like John Snow and Copernicus.By studying of this unit, well Enable the students to know science is very important in our daily life.and train their serious attitudes towards science and develop their interest in science. Part 2 Teaching Aims1.Knowledge objects: a.learn and master the following words and expressionsWords: discover,explain,defeat,attend,ease,cure,control,suggest,absorbPhrases: lift up , put forward, use.to do sth,help (to)do sth,be similar to Sentence patterns: so.that.,neither.nor.,every time.b.
