Ask students to go over the new words they learnt last period.2. Play a guessing game between boys and girls,using the structures:Do you have ? Yes,I do. No,I dont. I show the pictures of the balls ,the students guess like this , (The back to the students who are guessing .)S1: Do you have a basketball?Ss and I : No ,we dont /Yes. we do .A student can guess twice .If he/she is right . he / she gets 10 points but if he / she is wrong ,he/he gets “0”Step 2 Filling in the blanksFinish 3a 1. Write the following sentences on the blackboard and explain them .I have a ping-pong ball I dont have ping-pang ball.He has a soccer ball He doesnt have a soccer ball .2. Ask students to look at the cartoon story in 3a. I read the conversation in speech bubbles aloud .Saying:“blank”each time I come to a blank line.3. Point out the words in the box .Ask students to read the four words .Then I say “Fill in the blanks with the words from the box ”Ask one boy and one girl to write the words on the blackboard.4.
