新目标英语七年级(下)Unit6 ImwatchingTV. 教学设计主讲人:杨敏一、教材分析本单元是Goforit(下)Unit5。主要围绕“Whatareyoudoing?”这一主题展开各种教学活动,并以这一主题引出现在进行时,谈论人们正在做的事。本单元贴近学生的日常生活,旨在创造一个轻松、愉快的学习、交流环境,通过听、说、读、写来培养学生综合运用这些知识的能力。并让学生能在“做中学”(learningbydoing),通过有限的课堂实践活动,注意观察别人的行动,能准确地运用现在进行时进行问答。SectionA 1a1c部分是本单元的第一课时,这一课时通过常见的一些动词及其动词短语引出现在进行时的教学,学好本课对现在进行时的各种语言功能的学习起了很好的铺垫作用。二、 教学目标1知识目标1)学习并掌握动词的现在分词形式,如reading a newspaper, cleaning, watching TV, talking on the phone, washing the dishes, exercising, listening to a CD, making soup and so on. 2)句型结构Whatareyoudoing? ImwatchingTV.Whatshe/shedoing? He/Shesreading a newspaper.Whataretheydoing?Theyretalking on the phone.3)学会运用现在进行时描述人们正在做的事。2. 能力目标 培养学生观察别人行为的能力及学生肢体语言的表现力。3、情感目标通过对本单元的任务性活动,培养学生学习英语的强烈兴趣,乐于参加各种活动的积极情感,乐于合作,培养学生团结合作的精神。三、教学的重、难点1. 教学重点1) 词汇、词组搭配和现在进行时的用法。能用现在进行时的各种形式进行准确的描述和表达正在发生的动作。2) 能掌握现在进行时态及一些表示具体动作的词组搭配,如: reading a newspaper, using the computer, watching TV, 等 2. 教学难点: 现在进行时中现在分词的结构及读音,能在交际中准确地运用现在进行时来描述或表达正在进行的动作。四、教学手段多媒体辅助:将本课所需要的动画、录音、图片、文字、图表和音乐制成CAI软件,使抽象的语言变得直观,为学生运用英语进行交际创设情景,实现师生互动,生生互动和人机互动的多向交流。五、教学过程设计Step1Warming up1、 Greeting2、 Look at the pictures and enjoy the video, then lead in the key words, such as now and the title Im watching TV. Step 2 Presentation1、 Present the pictures and introduce these phrases and sentences.He is using the computer.He is washing the dishes.They are making soup.She is listening to a CD. Picture 1T: Look at the picture, whats this?Ss: Its a computer.T: I often use the computer. Use, using.Ss: T: Look at this boy, do you know him? Oh, here. What are you doing?Boy: Im using the computer.T: Whats the boy doing?Ss: He is using the computer.Use the similar teaching methods to lead in other target language to express the present progressive tense.2、Present the new words&phrases and the Present Progressive Tense.Invite some students to do actions like reading a newspaper, exercising, talking on the phone and cleaning. And meanwhile lead in some sentences to express the Present Progressive Tense. For example,reading a newspaperT: Oh, look! Girl, whats this?Girl: Its a newspaper.T: What are you doing?Girl: I am reading a newspaper. (Help G to express it.)T: What is she doing?Ss: She is reading a newspaper. (Help Ss to express it.)Use the similar ways to introduce these phrases and sentences.He is exercising.They are talking in the phone. They are cleaning.2、 Review all of the pictures.3、 Look at the topic picture and then match the activities with the pictures in 1a.Step 3 Listening1、Look at the topic pictures again.T: Now these people in the house are doing different things. Listen to the conversation between Bob and Jenny and then hear what Jenny, John, Dave and Mary are doing. Finally write the numbers from 1a. Check the answers and write the whole sentences.2、Listen again and fill in the blanks. A: Hello, Jenny! B: Hi, Bob! A: Jenny, what _ you _? B: I _ _ TV. A: Do you want to play tennis? B: No, this TV show is interesting. _ John _? A: _ _the dishes. B: Well, what _ Dave and Mary _? A: _ _ to a CD.3、Listen and repeat. Step 4 Pairwork.Ask and answer questions about what people are doing in 1a. A: Whats he doing?B: Hes using the computer.A: What are they doing?B: Theyre listening to a CD. Step 5 Free talk Look at the picture and talk about what Bob and his family are doing now with the target language as a reporter.
