When are you going to start? 3Can talk about dream jobs with “be going to” (二)能力目标Students do different activities to talk about jobs and practice listening, speaking and writing skills.(三).情感目标:Students can make plans and have good habits to make their dreams come true. 二、教学重难点1. 教学重点:(1) 学习一般将来时态的构成方式“be going to”(2) 学习本课时出现的重点单词和句型2. 教学难点:用一般将来时态表达自己未来的工作计划。三、教学过程. Warm up I am a teacher, what do you do? What does your father/mother do?What other jobs do you know?. New words1. Show some pictures and teach the new words: computer programmer, cook, engineer, violinist, pianist, pilot, scientist, driver, doctor 2. Try to remember the new words. . A guessing game Show some pictures in the big screen. Let Ss guess who he/she is, and what his/her job is. Presentation1. Show a picture and say: My brother is very tall. He likes playing basketball very much. And he wants to be a basketball play when he grows up. So he is going to practice basketball every day. T: What do you want to be when you grow up?Ss: I want to be a/an T: How are you going to do that?Ss: Im going to T: When are you going to start?Ss: T: Where are you going to work?Ss: . Pair work Practice the conversation in pairs. Listening 1. Play the recording for the Ss to listen and fill in the blanks in 1b. If you want to do these jobs, how are you going to do that.2. Ss listen and check () the correct boxes in 2a.3. Play the recording again and finish 2b.Tell Ss that theyll listen to Cheng Hans plan for the future.
