Review the sentences used to talk about what people are doing. Show some pictures and ask Ss what are the people doing.II. Presentation 1. Words (Show some pictures of the weather) Let Ss look at the pictures and ask them how the weather is. Ss learn the new words and expressions with the help of the pictures: weather, sunny, cloudy, windy, rainy/raining,snowy/snowing. 2. Sentences and practice (1) Watch a video about a song: Hows the weather? At the first time, ask Ss to listen to the song; At the second time, let Ss to sing it together. (2) Write the sentences on the blackboard: Hows the weather today? Its. Then show some pictures about the weather and ask Ss to answer: How is the weather today? After that let boys ask and girls answer to review these sentences. Tell Ss that we can also ask about the weather with the sentence: What is the weather like? And write it on the blackboard. Then practice it by asking and answering. If they are right, give their groups 1 point.III. Activities1.
