Each group has one student every time. T shows the card written verb phrases to one of them（sweep the floor , make the bed, fold the clothes, take out the trash, wash the car, water the plant, buy some drinks and snacks, wash the dishes）, the other guesses. With each correct answer, the group will get one point. The group which gets more points is the winner.Then T can organize a brief class discussion： 1. Could you please clean your room?Could you please? 请求别人做某事这是could的一般疑问句，并非询问对方有无能力，而是向对方提出请求，有礼貌地请求允许干某事, 意思是“请你,好吗?”。could是can的过去式，但在本句型中并不表示时间上的区别，而只有语气上的不同。could没有can那么肯定，而是较为委婉，使这种请求听起来显得更加客气，更含有尊敬的意味。如：Could you please take out the rubbish? 能请你倒掉垃圾吗？肯定回答: Yes, I can. / Yes, sure. / Sure, Id love to. 否定回答: No, I cant. / Sorry, I cant. 注意: (1) 在进行实际回答中，要注意人称的对应。 (2) 这里Could是一种委婉、客气的礼貌用语，作肯定否定回答时， 要用can, cant来代替。 慧眼识珠：用do和make填空：1.
