Be able to listen, speak, read, look and understand the sentences.(能听、说、读、看、理解、书写句型)3. Be able to gain a brief understanding and structure of Present Progressive.(简单了解现在进行时及其构成)4. Try to make students know that animals are same as humans and we should live with the animals harmoniously.(让学生获得感知:人类应该和动物和谐相处)Learning important points.(学习重点)1. New words and sentences(新单词和句型的掌握)2. Watch a video (动画短片欣赏) T:What can you see in the short film? (在短片里看到了什么) What are they doing? (他们在做些什么) Ss:.(answer in English or Chinese)(学生用英文或中文回答)Step II Presentation (新知呈现)1. T: Today is Sunday. Chen Jie and Mike go to a farm. Lets go and see what are they doing.(今天是星期天,陈杰和迈克来到了一个农场,我们一起去看看他们在干些什么。) Look at the conversation and guess what are they talking about.(看文中对话,猜猜内容) Read and analyze the conversation.(阅读并讲解) T: Weve found that there are some new words. Now lets learn.(这这段对话中我们发现又一些新单词,让我们来一一把他们消灭)2. T: Look at this pictures. Whats the dog doing?(看图,看他们在做什么) Ss: Hes climbing. (引导学生回答) Read “ climbing” together. Focus on the differences between climb and climbing.(齐读单词,并强调climb与climbing的区别) Try to make sentences: He/She is climbing.(尝试让学生用单词造句) T: Look at the picture. Is the dog drinking?(看图,小狗在喝水吗?) Ss: Yes.(是的) Read “drinking” group by group. Focus on the difference between drink and drinking.(分组读单词,区别drink和drinking) Try to make sentences: He/She is drinking.(引导学生造句) T: Look at the hungry dog. Whats he doing?(看图,小狗在做什么) Ss: Hes eating.(引导学生回答) Read “eating” boys then girls. Focus on the difference between eat and eating.(分男女生读单词,引导学生区别eat和eating) Try to make sentences: He/She is eating.(让学生造句) T: Look at the rabbit. Is she playing?(看图,她在玩吗?) Ss: Yes.(是的) Read “playing” group by group. Focus on the difference between play and playing.(分组读单词,强调play与playing的区别) Try to make sentences: Theyre playing.(尝试用复数人称代词造句) T: Look at the rabbits. What are they doing?(看图,他们在做什么) Ss: Theyre sleeping.(引导学生回答) Read “sleeping” one by one. Focus on the difference between sleep and sleeping.(一个接一个的读单词,会区分sleep和sleeping) Try to make sentences: Theyre sleeping.(引导学生造句) T: Look at the rabbits. What are the rabbits doing?(看图,这些兔子在做什么) Ss: Theyre jumping.(引导学生回答) Read “jumping” boys and girls. Focus on the difference between jump and jumping.(分男女生读单词,会区别jump和jumping) Try to make sentences: Theyre jumping.(造句) Explain the rules of the present participle form.(讲解现在分词的构成规则,只要求一般了解)Step III Practice & consolidation (练习巩固)1. Read the words and sentences together.(朗读单词和句子) Read by themselves.(分组自由朗读) Choose some students as the pupil teacher, then lead other students to read.(选择小老师带读单词)2. Listen to the recording and repeat.(听录音,跟读)3. Ask Ss to speak sentences.(用所学单词再次造句)4.
