football Did you read books Yes I did No I didn t 由于涉及到动词过去式的变化规则和读音规则 一 般过去式又是学生的学习难点之一 建议教师在此基础上创设真实情境 组 织有意义的任务或活动来展开一般过去式的教学 避免过分强调语法 本单 元的内容安排体现了由浅入深 循序渐进的原则 A 部分着重学习规则动词 的过去式变化 而 B 部分的重点是不规则动词的过去式变化 如 go went read read 等 在教学中 要注意多创设情境 帮助学生内化 并 达到学以致用 二 教学目标与要求二 教学目标与要求 1 能够听 说 读 写短语 watched TV washed clothes cleaned the room played football and visited gr andparents Saturday and Sunday on screen and say Saturday and Sunday are the weekend Then ask students about what they usually do on weekends Make a list of the verb phrases students said just now on the blackboard Next ask some things they did last weekend Help them use the past tense of the verbs Teach the new words 2 Teach Activity 1a Focus attention on the picture Ask students to tell what they see Have students name each activity Then point out the numbered list of activities Next ask students to match each activity with one of the pictures and finish 1a Later check the answers 3 Practice First lead students to look at the pictures of activities on the screen Then put students into pairs one is A the other is B Have them ask and answer questions about the events happened in last played badminton or Lucy went to the cinema Play the recording the first time Students only listen Play the recording a second time This time students listen to the recording and write the days and times Lucy did each thing under the pictures Point out the sample answer under the picture of Lucy playing badminton on Saturday morning Finally check the answers 5 Teach Activity 1c First lead students to look at the example conversation Then ask two students to read the dialogue to the class Next work with a partner Student A pretend to be Lucy Student B ask questions about what Lucy did on different days and times over the weekend Talk about the activities in the picture As they talk move around the room checking the progress and offering language or pronunciation assistance as needed Finally invite some pairs to act out for the whole class Step III Summary In this period we learned some new words and expressions through the pictures Later we did some listening and speaking complete it with the correct forms of the words As they work move around the room checking the progress and offering language support as needed Later invite a student to read his or her complete of a tennis racket Point to the picture of the TV and ask a student to make a sentence about what you did you watched TV Do the same with the picture of the tennis racket and ask another student to make a sentence Write the two sentences on the board and underline the ed in watched and played and remind students to use the past tense Next ask students to practice the activity in groups of four Each students draws two things she he did over the weekend on a piece of paper The students then take turns to make sentences about each other s pictures in past tense Give them several minutes to do this game Walk around the class offering assistance where necessary Later ask some individual students to show their pictures of two things to the class Let classmates guess what they did last weekend Step III Summary In this period we have explained the grammar in details In order to master it well we did some writing practice and played a game Through the activities we consolidated the target Later collect works choose some best written ones and present them for the whole class Step III Summary In this period we have consolidated the simple past tense We should master the simple past tense
