Festivals教学案例达 萍一、教学目标:1、能力目标: 1) 交流自己对节日的喜好; 2) 介绍中西方主要节日;2、知识目标 : 掌握Can you tell me about festivals? Yes. My favourite is . When is it? Its in . What do you eat? I eat . What do you do? I .3、情感目标:通过对比中西方节日,培养学生跨文化交际意识;4、学习策略: 引导学生在学习过程中注重启发式、合作式学习和任务式教学方法以及创新能力的培养;5、文化目标: 了解中西方国家的主要节日。二、教学重点:1、掌握单词:special, hear ,together and nearly.2、掌握句子:Can you tell me about festivals?和Thanksgiving is an American festivals.三、教学难点:1、能够用英语描述感恩节的来历及习俗。2、掌握特殊疑问句When? What?的用法及其回答。四、学生和内容分析:学生有一定的语言学习的基础,但是在英语学习中,教师仍然需要发挥自己的个性魅力来帮助学生克服学习障碍。本课主要学习感恩节,针对学生对西方节日的好奇我布置了一个任务,让他们调查彼此喜欢的节日以及原因,这样他们就可以在交际中学习,在交际中运用。五、教学方法:愉快教学法,讲授法,模仿练习法相结合。并且倡导任务式教学法,注重“双主”作用(教师的主导作用和学生的主体作用)。六、教学手段:动静、讲练结合,提高效率。两人联系与小组讨论相结合。七、教学过程:I. Warmer(热身活动)1. Ask and answer : T: Whats the date today? Ss: Today is September 12th. T: Hello. Boys and girls! Today well learn “ Festivals” Teacher show it to the blackboard. Then the students read and spell it.T: There is a very important festival. Its nearly here. Can you tell me the name of it?S1: Mid-Autumn Festival.T: When is it? S1: Its in September. T: What do you eat? S1: I eat .T: What do you do? S1: I .活动意图:通过问候日期导入中秋节,让学生复习学过的日期和食物。2. Talk about Chinese festivals.T: Can you tell me more about Chinese festivals? Ss give the list and T show them on the screen. And asks “When is it? What do you eat?” the Spring Festival - in January or February I eat jiaozi. 活动意图:通过一个节日使学生联想到其他的中国节日,为新课的导入做好铺垫,并能活跃课堂气氛。4. Practice in pairs. S2: Can you tell me about Chinese festivals?S3: Yes, My favourite is .S2: When is it? S3: Its in .S2: What do you eat ? S3: I eat .S2: What do you do ? S3: I .活动意图:通过复习其他中国的节日,并且掌握了重点句型。II. Presentation(介绍新语言项目)1. Talk about American festivals.T: Can you tell me about American festivals?Ss give the list and T show them on the screen.活动意图:在自主学习中了解西方的主要节日。2. Tell the differences between Easter and Halloween . S7: They 活动意图:复习上学期学过的复活节和感恩节,通过对比帮助学生巩固记忆所学过的节日。3. Introduce the Thanksgiving.T: we have learned two American festivals. There is an American festival we havent learned. It is Thanksgiving. T: So they have a big, special dinner. Whats meaning “special”?Ss: 特殊的,特别的活动意图:让学生初步感知感恩节的来历,增加他们对感恩节的兴趣。引出和感恩节有关的食物,导入本课的一个重点句型,分解了课文的难点,降低了学生学习课文的难度。3. Talk about the meaning of Thanksgiving.T: Thanksgiving means giving thanks to gods. Now it has different meaning. It means that thank you for all the good things we have.活动意图:学生进一步加深对感恩节的理解,化解本课的另一个难点句型,拓展学生的文化知识,并且进行情感教育,让学生怀着一颗感恩的心,珍惜他们拥有的一切。4. Listen and try to know the main idea.活动意图:第一遍听课文,让学生对课文内容有整体了解。5. Look at the key words and try to understand the text.活动意图:第二遍听课文,根据所给出的关键词让学生进一步加深对课文的理解。6. Listen and circle the correct answers.活动意图:进一步巩固学生对课文的理解,通过此题培养学生的答题技巧。7. Listen, repeat Paragraph 1 and answer the questions.Watch the CD-ROM (Listen to the tape and repeat) with several questions. T: Before we listen to the text, Ill give you some questions about it. You should give me the answers after listening. OK?Q1: When is it?Q2: What do they do?Q3: What do they eat?活动意图:精读课文第一自然段,回答wh 问题。体现阅读任务的梯度。解释lots of fun等短语以及句型,从而帮助学生扫清课文中的句型难点。发挥学生的主动性,让他们自己总结America 与American的区别。8. Students read Paragraph 2 together. Then Teacher read it. At last the students read it again.活动意图:学生自己齐读第二自然段,再根据教师的示范读,纠正语音语调,培养学生的语感和朗读习惯。III. Consolidation 巩固教学 1. The students read the text together.2. Read it in groups.3. Act it out.活动意图:让学生有感情的齐读课文,分角色朗读等方法,培养他们良好的阅读习惯,进一步巩固所学的课文。IV. Production(任务完成)T: Now lets make a survey-Whats your favorite festival?
