Section A (3a-3c)教学时数:一课时1、 教材分析:3a部分讲述了美猴王这一人物的大体情况,并简单介绍了美猴王这个故事传播到西方国家后,西方国家的孩子对这一角色的喜爱。通过学习,学生们可以形成一定的是非观,价值观,可以学习孙悟空为帮助弱者而战,从不放弃的品质。3a到3c设计了不同形式的练习题,3a训练学生在阅读过程中抓取信息的能力,3b训练学生从阅读中如何找出细节,3c提供了目标语言的写作练习。2、 学情分析及教学设计思路:八年级2班有良好的班风,学风,学生精神饱满,学习自觉性高,学习兴趣浓厚,英语基础好。之前我们已经学习了愚公移山的故事,我鼓励学生学习更多的中国传统文化和西方童话故事,课前我让学生们为自己最喜欢的角色画像,并在课堂上给他们提供一个展示的机会。在阅读教学中,我利用教材提供的材料以及学生的知识储备对学生进行快速找出所需信息的训练;无论在理解课文还是口语表达中,我有意识培养学生利用语块进行理解分析的习惯。三、教学目标: 1. 语言知识目标:1) 学习掌握下列词汇:object, magic, stick, hide, tail, turninto, excite, western 2) 阅读短文,能按要求找到相应的信息,通过阅读提高学生们的阅读能力。3) 了解西游记中美猴王这一人物的大体情况。2. 情感态度价值观目标:多阅读中国传统文学名著,让学生们明白中国传统文化的博大、精深,学习美猴王勇敢坚韧不拔的品质。 四、教学重难点1. 教学重点:学生学习讲述故事,在讲述过程中恰当使用连词。2. 教学难点: 将学生熟悉的中国神话故事转换为符合英语表达习惯和思维的语言表达。五、教具准备:录音机,图片(学生画图)六、教学过程Step 1 Revision Students tell the story of Yu Gong moves a mountain.1: Once upon a time, there was a very old _. Keys: 1) Theyre Zhu Bajie, Su Wukong, Sha Heshang and Tang Seng. 2) Journey to the West. 3) I like _ best. 2. Talk about the Monkey King. Write some key words.Such as,the Monkey King,magic stick,small,big,long,turn into a man,hide his tail,etc.Step 4 Reading Work on 3a. 1.Tell students to read the article in 3a quickly and try to find the answers to the questions: Which book is talked about? Who is the main character? What is he like?Students read the article quickly and try to answer the questions: 2.Check the answers.Keys: 1. Journey to the West. 2. The Monkey King. 3. He is not just any normal monkey. In fact, he sometimes does not even look like a monkey! Work on 3b. 1. Make sure students know what to do.2. Give them about two minutes to find the answers.。3. Check the answers.
