And told the emperor that people couldnt see the clothes unless they were clever. They were really trying to cheat the emperor. Nobody wanted to sound stupid, so everyone said his new clothes were beautiful.2. 情感态度价值观目标: 多阅读中外传统文学名著,让学生们明白中国传统文化的博大、精深,并吸取中国传统文化中的精华。同时也要了解外国的文化,开阔自己的眼界。多阅读,并且无论阅读什么,都要有自己的思考。二、教学重难点1. 教学重点:1) 掌握本课时出现的生词及用法。2) 进行听力训练,提高综合听说能力。 2. 教学难点:1. 听力训练2. 学会表达故事中的人物和情节,并发表自己简单的看法和观点三、教学过程Step 1 Lead in1. GreetingT ask Ss the following questions: a.How was your weekend? b.What did you do on weekends? c.What do you usually do on weekends? d.Do you like reading book? e.Do you like reading stories?. 2.Show some pictures on the screen.3.Ask some questions about it. e.g.T: Look at these pictures. Do you know this story? Whats the name of this story? S1: Yu Gong Moves the Mountains T: Can you tell the story briefly? S2: Once upon a time.4. Ask Ss to list some other traditional Chinese folk stories.5. Ask Ss to list some western fairy tales.6. Present the new words on the blackboard and learn together.Step 2 Before-listening 1. Show a picture and let Ss guess who is the man standing in front of the mirror.2. Ss guess the name of the story. -The Emperors New Clothes Step 3 While-listening 1.Work on 1b: 1)Tell Ss to look at the pictures in 1c. Tell them these are the pictures from the story: The Emperors New Clothes. Listen to the tapes and number the pictures. Tip1: Guess before listen/2) Play the recording for the Ss. Ss just listen for the first time. Play the recording again and number the pictures. 3) Check the answers: 2.Work on 1c: 1) Let Ss read the sentences in 1c first. Tell Ss to listen again and fill in the blanks with the right words. 2) Play the recording again for the Ss to listen and write the words. 3) Ss listen to the recording carefully and try to write the right words. 4) Check the answers with the class. Keys: clothes, brothers, give, kept, looked, saw, shouted, wearingTip2: Write 2 or 3 letters for short.Tip3: Pay attention to the forms of the words.Step 4 After-listening1. Listen and imitate. Please read after the recording and try to imitate the tones and intonations.2. Analyze the difficult words and phrases and do some exercise.Exercise: a. Europe Look at the map and see where Europe is. b.silk The clothes is made of silk. What other things are made of silk? gold The medal is made of silk. Summary 1) Ss try to summarize the story of The Emperors New Clothes by using the information in 1b and 1c. 2) Discuss the answers with their partners and check. 5. Retell 1) Ask Ss what have they learned today and whats the story about? 2) Look at the pictures and short phrases, try to retell the story in groups of four.6. Discussion 1)Ask Ss what can they learn from the story? From the aspects of the emperor, the two brothers and the young boy. The answer is not fixed, Ss can have their own opinions.7. Conclusion T have a conclusion at the end of the class. Not only the stories from Europe, but also the stories from China, they all have something in common. Every simple story has its own meanings. So whenever or wherever we read something. We should have a deep think and think twice, in this way, we can certainly get something from what we read.Step 5 Homework1.Written homeworkFinish the exercise book, Unit 6 Period 4Try to write down a play about The Emperors New Clothes.2.Oral homeworkRetell the story The Emperors New Clothes to your parents.Try to act out the play in groups of four. Step 6 Blackboard DesignThe Emperors New Clothes The emperor silly/stupid vain Europe The two brothers two cheats silk love the money so much gold sly/tricky (kept)keep sth. for oneself unless=if.not cheatThe young boy so brave enough to tell the truth underwear honest bold四、教学反思童话这种体裁比较适合初中学生的口味,学生学起来兴趣浓厚,因而整堂课绝大部分学生都积极发言,真正达到了让学生在快乐中学习英语的目的。在这节课中,我做到了:1.以英语学科的核心素养为基础,重视基础知识的落实,教给学生听力训练的方法和技巧。2.为体现课堂学生的主体性,以自主、合作、探究为学习方式,突出重点,突破难点。3.通过指导学生跟读录音、自读、齐读和分角色朗读课文,培养学生的英语语感;通过师生、生生互动,培养学生的听、说、读、写能力和合作探究精神。但是,本堂课也有一些不足的地方:1.在品析故事中皇帝、两个骗子以及小男孩的人物性格时,没有留给学生足够的时间去探讨,时间比较仓促,而且答案也没有很多元化。2.其实该故事涉及到的人物还有皇帝身边的大臣,以及游行时街上的人们,由于课本听力材料中没有体现,所以本堂课我也没有涉及这些人物,但其实可能这些人物也应该加入进去分析。3.因为本堂课容量大,时间紧,所以最后结尾的时候只是以我
