2015-2016学年度第二学期英语评优课教案Unit 3 My school calendar Part 1一、教学目标:(teaching objectives)语言技能language skiill 1. Use the sentence pattern “ When is ” fluncely.2.Encourage the students use more oral English language in the real situation. Learn the first six months and some important festivals.语言知识:knowledge about languages 1. The correctly expression of the festivals;2. Use of the vocabulary of past about activities of events; 情感态度:emotion and attitude1. learn to make a plan for ourself about important days; 2. cousious about having a good habit of planning.学习策略: learning strategies1.Read the text fluncy and more times, training replace the different and more vocabulary in the sentencese patitern; then summry the language structure by themselves;2.Learning to be cooperative learning through the pair-work or group work;3.Share the plan in each team, learn from each other. 文化意识: cultural awareness1.Differences between Chinese festival and English festival;2.Know about some culture or habits about festivals in foreigh countries .二、教学重难点important and difficult points of teaching1. Using and understanding the sentence pattern When is ?2.Use the senteces lively and freely; Include the similar sentences;3. express festivals correctly and freely. 三、教学准备:Teaching preparation: calendar CAI property四、教学过程:Teaching process1. Warm-up: 1.Talk about the mood. 2. Practicing game and divide groups2. Lead-in: S: e.g.: Im your friend. Im a Miss forgetful. Today, Ill make a working plan of this term. Well make a plan accroding to all the festivals and events in firstly six months. I want to everybody can help me. 3. Presentation: 1. Months and word;e.g. When is Tree Planting Day?/When is Childrens Day? What can you do on Mothers Day?/What can you do on Fathers Day? 2. Teacher give the example “I can plant trees on Tree Planting Day”3. Ask some students: What event is in April?/ Do we have sports meet in May? Do we have test in March?/ Do we have a singsing contest in June?4. Practice: 1. Read the dialogue on page 242. Role play for p24 or make a new conversation.3. Team cooperation workLets have a group work for making plan according to my blank.Choose two or three events or festival in a month and make a new conversation.e.g. When is ? Well have a Is it in? Share the order between each group.5. Assessment: Students assess others when they listen to the dialogue;Assess ones order or groups order.6.
