Unit 6Im going to study computer science. 第一课时Section A 1a2d 一 教学目标 1.记忆单词与短语:grow up,cook,doctor,engineer,violinist,driver,pilot,pianist,scientist,be sure about,make sure。 2.掌握句型:What do you want to be when you grow up? I want to be a basketball player. How are you going to do that? Im going to practice basketball every day. Where are you going to work? When are you going to start? Im not sure about that. 3.掌握一般将来时态的构成形式; 用一般将来时态表达将要做的事情。 二 教学内容 1.了解有关职业的词汇和短语。 2.学习一些询问职业的句型。 3.能够谈论未来自己与他人的理想职业及原因。 三 教学重难点 1.学习一般将来时态的构成方式。 2.学习本课时出现的重点句型,通过在不同情景下运用来熟练运用一般将来时态。 3.用一般将来时态表达自己未来的打算。 四 教学思路 本课教学内容是八年级上Unit 6 第一课时,主要谈论未来的职业,在授课前要进行小调查,询问他们未来想从事什么工作,熟悉关于职业的名词,通过出示图片和多媒体课件帮助学生回答,也可以通过学生相互交流的形式,谈论未来的工作,从而激发他们的欲望。 通过听力训练be going to句型及回答。 最后一环通过对话进行交际训练,分析其中的语法现象。 五 教学准备 设计教学PPT,图片,录音机,多媒体。 六 教学过程 Step.Preview 1.First ask the Ss to put Chinese into English orally,and then let them write English down without looking at the textbooks. (1)长大,成熟(2)计算机程序设计员(3)厨师;烹饪,煮(4)小提琴手 (5)钢琴家 (6)确信,对有把握(7)确保,查明 2.Ask the Ss to translate the following sentences. (1)你长大以后要干什么工作?_? (2)我想成为篮球运动员。_。 (3)你怎么才能做到呢?_? (4)我打算每天练习篮球。_。 设计意图本部分词组和句子都是本节课的重要语言知识,该部分预习内容可以帮助学生更有目的性地预习。同时通过检测学生的预习效果,教师可以更有针对性地教,学生可以更有针对性地学。 Step .Lead in Guessing game. T:Boys and girls,please look at the picture in 1a.In the picture some students are talking something.Now lets listen and see what they are talking about.OK? Task 1:The general idea of the conversation is about.? A.their dream jobs B.action they should take C.A and B 2.Listen for the specific ideas of 1b. T:Class,we all know there are four jobs in the conversations.How is everyone going to do that? Lets listen for the specific ideas.Then youll know the answer. Task 2:Listen and fill in the blanks.Then match the items. (1)computer programmer (2)basketball player (3)engineer (4)actor a.take lessons? b.study science? c.practice every day? d.study really hard? 设计意图通过初听培养学生听取大意的能力,而细听主要是培养学生听细节、听重点的能力。 Step .Post-listening activities 1.Listen and repeat. 2.Pair work.(1c) Ask Ss to practice the conversation with their partners in the picture.Then make conversations about the other jobs in 1a.For example: A:What do you want to be when you grow up? B:I want to be a basketball player. A:How are you going to do that? B:Im going to practice basketball every day. 设计意图本部分是听力后的拓展训练,更好地巩固所学知识。 Step .Listening practice(2) 2a Listen.What is Cheng Han going to do? Check () the correct boxes in the picture. Task 1:Listen for the general idea of 2a.T he main idea of the conversation is about Cheng Hans_? B:Hes going to 设计意图本部分的内容重在培养学生把握大意和细节信息的能力,2c主要练习听力要点输出能力。 Step .Role-play (2d) Task 1:Read the conversation and find the answers to the questions. (1)What does Ken want to be?_? (2)How is he going to become a writer?_? (3)What does Andy want to be?_? Task 2:Role-play the conversation in pairs.Then ask students to perform it to the whole class. 设计意图通过分角色表演对话,并对文章进行改写填空,既提高了学生的口语表达能力,又使所学的知识得以有效的输出。 Step .Summary Sentence pattern: What are you going to be when you grow up? I am going to be a/an How are you going to do that?
