Im so happy to see you. Everybody stand up, lets sing a song together.(Hot Song)“Are you hot? Are you hot?Yes,I am.Yes,I amThe sun is hot.The sun is hot.Yes,you are right. Yes,you are right.”.2) Lead in(Teacher can use the words:hot cold warm cool that students have already learned to ask and answer some questions, so as to bring out the topic. )设计意图:(热身环节运用改编的歌曲律动活跃课堂气氛,吸引学生注意力,激发学生学习兴趣。同时运用旧知自然引入新知。)Step 2 Presentation(10min)1)Present the wordsT:Children,look at the sky outside. Yes,its a sun. The sun makes us feel hot. Its a nice day. You can also say its sunny.(Teacher can lead the student to read the word several times,then use pictures and PPT to present other words in different ways.)2) Present the sentencesT:Everybody,look at the map. Lets go and have a look. Wow,so many cities.They are Moscow, London, Singapore and so on.Do you like them? Whats the weather like there? Listen to the weather report carefully. Then tell me about the weather.(Teacher can ask the students the weather in the weather report,so as to let students get familiar with the sentences,then lead students to find the differences of weather among different countries. )设计意图:通过贴近学生生活的天气导入新单词,利用多媒体教学手段呈现不同国家的天气创设情境,让学生在有趣轻松的氛围中获取和理解知识,同时渗透不同国家的天气文化差异,扩展学生视野。)Step3 Practice(10min)1) Game: High and low voice(Divide the class into 4 groups.Teacher can practice the key words with the flash cards through a game named high and low voice and give positive respond to the class. )设计意图:(运用高低音的单词游戏,通过分组竞争游戏,激发学生兴趣,活跃课堂气氛,达到巩固新知的效果。)2)Chain game&Pair work(The teacher can give each of the groups the weather card.One student ask and other members in the group answer it.Then pass the card to another group. The better group is the winner. The teacher can prepare a gift for the winner group. Finally,teacher leads students to practice in pairs. And pay attention to the discipline of the class during the activity.)设计意图:(通过单词接龙的方式,充分发挥学生的主体,培养学生的合作意识,利用竞争激发了学生学习积极性,同时面向全体学生,进行结对练习,培养学生运用知识能力。)Step 3 Consolidation(15min)Draw a weather map.T: Four persons a group.Here are some pieces of papers. There is a form on every piece of paper. You can choose any 4 cities in the world you like to fill in the form. Go.Then use the key words and sentences to ask your partner the weather and fill in your form.(Teacher can offer help during the activity if students have any problems. Then teacher can invite a group to introduce their weather report in front of the class.)T:Your dialogues are fluently and funny.Im so proud of your presentations and creations. Of course dont forget to care about your body health when you are in different weather .Ss:.设计意图:(利用律动的总结今日所学,情感教育深化主题。)Step 5 Homework 1) Choose 3 countries or cities you like and infer the weather from the Internet, dont forget to design and draw it on the paper.
