Unit 9 DO YOU WANT TO GO TO A MOVIE?(在学习本单元之前,布置给学生任务-每个学生准备好一张自己最喜欢的电影的海报,课堂备用.同时教师尽可能多搜集各种类型的电影海报.) No, I dont. 2. 要求掌握以下词汇:(1) 动词:go, want (2) 名词:action movie, comedy, documentary, thriller, opera (3) 形容词:scary, interesting, sad, exciting(斜体字部分的单词本应在第四课时中出现,但可以在介绍电影类型时第一次非正式出现。这样可以加深学生对词汇的印象。)Teaching steps (教学步骤) 教学设计说明1. Warming-up and revision (课堂热身和复习) (1) Daily greetings to the students (日常问候) 巩固前几个单元所T: Hello!. 学的内容。 S: Hello! Mr /Mrs /MissT: How are you?S: Fine, thank you.T: Do you have a baseball bat/ping-pong ball/black pants?S: Yes, I do. T: How much is it/are they?S: Its /They are.T: Is your friend?S: Yes, he/she is. No, he/she isnt.T: Where is he/she?S: He/She is 复习第8单元并为学T: How old are you? 或 How old is he/she? 习本单元做铺垫。S: Im.years old. 或 He/She is .(2) Revision (复习)T: When is your birthday?(老师也可以问其他同学:When is his/her birthday?) They are action 可补充一些其它类型 movies, comedies, documentaries, thrillers. 的电影名称 。并教单(老师同时展示这四类电影的一些图片海报, 复数形式,为第2课做或是说一些电影片名。) 铺垫。I like thrillers. They are very scary。 What kind of movies do you like?S: I like action movies/comedies/documentaries.(让学生自由表达他们的观点)T: I think they are exciting and sad/funny/interesting. (老师可以先问Why? 看学生是否能做一些点评,对于多数学生感兴趣的类型可稍微展开,如:action movie, Rush Hour/ Shaolin TempleJackie Chan/Jet Ligreat actor)3. Work on 1a (完成P53 1a)T: Now look at the pictures on P53. Please match the kinds of movies with the posters. (使用教材第53页上图片的挂图,给学生一分钟时间独立或同桌讨论来完成此项任务。)T: Now lets check the answers. For example: Why do you want to see a comedy? 接触评价电影的形容 (继续和同伴编对话并完善对话。例如问:词,为在第 4课时得到 你为什么想看喜剧?) 更好的巩固Written work:(1) Copy the sentences in 1a twice and translate them into Chinese on the exercise books. (抄写1a中的句子两遍并翻译为汉语。)(2) Write down the dialogues between you and your partner like the sentences in 1c on the exercise books.
