Develop students listening and speaking skills.IV. 教学准备A tape recorder, a projector, handoutsV. 教学过程Step I Warm-upT: Good morning, class.Ss: Good morning, teacher.T: Nice to meet you!Ss: Nice to meet you, too!Then, check the homework and have a dictation of the key words and phrases in the last unit.Step II PresentationT: Do you like going on a school trip?Ss: Yes!T: Did you go on a school trio this semester?Ss: Yes!T: Where did you go?Point students to answer.S1: We went to the amusement park last week.T: Did you have a good time?Ss: Yes.T: What did you do there? Today we will talk about the school trip in the past. Please look at the screen: go for a walk - went for a walk milk a cow - milked a cow ride a horse - rode a horse feed chickens - fed chickens talk with a farmer - talked with a farmer take some photos - took some photos am/is-was are-were do-didCall attention to the changes of each verbs form, explain the past form of the regular and irregular verbs.Then lead students to read these phrases and say their meanings.Have them look at the pictures and match the phrases with them.Check the answers later.T: Now you will hear a conversation about Carols school trip. Please listen carefully and circle the three things she did on her trip in 1a. Do it individually. Later we will check the answers together.Play the tape the first time, students listen and circle the three things.Play it the second time, students repeat and check the answers.Next lead students to read the conversations in the picture and 1c and give students several minutes to practice asking and answering questions about Carols trip in pairs.Finally, invite several pairs to act out for the whole class.Stop III PracticeFirst give students two minutes to have a fast reading of the sentences so that they can know what to do. Play the tape twice for them to listen.Then invite some students to present their answers, correct mistakes if any.Next put students into pairs to make conversations about Tinas trip to the farm like this.Finally, invite some pairs to act out for the whole class.Step IV ConsolidationFirst, give two minutes for students to read through the conversation silently.Then invite some students to answer some questions.T: What are they talking about?S1: They are talking about Erics trip.T: Where did Eric go last week?S2: He went to his grandparents home in the countryside.T: What did he do there?S3: He went fishing every day, and he fed chickens with his grandma.T: How was the weather there?S4: It was fine.T: Did he watch the stars at night?S5: Yes,he did.T: Excellent! You have understood this conversation well. Now, read after me, pay attention to the intonation. Step V SummaryIn this period, we have learned the change of verbs form and how to talk about the school trip in last week. Through the listening and speaking practice, we mastered the target language and improved our listening and speaking skills.Step VI Homework1. Finish the exercises in the workbook.2.
