初中英语外研版八年级下册高效课堂资料昌乐实验中学_八_ _年级_英语_学科课堂设计设计教师: 姬瑞芳_ _ 设计时间: 4 月14 日 第_2_单元 第 1 课时 总第 17 课时课 题Module 6 Unit 2 Hobbies can make you grow as a person课标、教材及学情分析教材分析本单元以一篇题为“Davids hobbies”的短文贯穿整个单元,短文通过介绍大卫史密斯的爱好写作,给他带来的喜悦和成就,还探讨了业余爱好对于学生的意义,鼓励学生善于发展多项业余爱好,启发和引导他们善于思考,敢于创新的精神。同时,由短文引出的新单词、短语、句型及语法,要求学生重点理解和熟知,并能通过练习更好的通过。学情分析本单元是对“业余爱好”相关知识的学习,这是一个既有意义,又能引起学生兴趣的话题,是培养学生兴趣、爱好的良好素材。初中二年级学生对这一类已早有体会,话题、内容都贴近现实生活,同时本模块涉及的语法知识点是对已学过的简单句的句型结构加以归纳概括,难度不大,所以学生在学习的过程中也不会感觉太吃力。教学目标知识与技能:语言知识目标:1、能够正确使用下列单词和词组: person, interest, skill, activity, sailing, result, pleasure, success,as a result, as well as, come out, develop ones interest.2、能够读懂关于大卫的爱好(Davids hobbies)的短文,捕捉主旨大意;能根据阅读任务获取细节信息。语言技能目标:1、掌握本单元的词汇、短语和句型结构,掌握它们的基本含义及其用法。2、了解各种爱好的特点及常识。过程与方法:兴趣是最好的老师,采用多媒体教学,激发学生兴趣,播放幻灯片图片吸引学生学习兴趣,实行自主互助、合作探究教学方式,实现高效课堂。情感、态度与价值观:1、通过短文学习,让学生从他人的爱好中增长见识,学有所获。2、通过各种不同的活动和任务的完成进一步激发和巩固学生英语学习的兴趣。教学重难点及突破措施重点:理解和掌握本单元的重点词汇、短语的基本含义及其用法。难点:准确熟练的运用本单元所学的词汇、短语和句型进行写作练习。突破措施:以学生为主体,结合自主学习和任务型教学法。教学环节问题设计及设计意图教师活动学生活动情境导入叫两个学生念上节课的课后作业介绍自己的爱好,其他学生听然后回答问题,既复习了Unit 1的内容又让学生快速进入本课的话题,然后谈论其他的爱好在训练了学生的反应同时也为新课做好铺垫,并在无形中培养学生大胆说英语的习惯。1.Lead in(1)Revision Have two students make a report about their passages about their hobbies. Then ask other students two questions:Whats their hobbies?What do you think of their hobbies?(2) Talk about the hobbies.Show students some kinds of hobbies and have them talk about them.1. (1)Listen and answer the questions. (2)Look and talk.自主学习引导学生谈论图片,训练学生描述图片的能力。在描述的同时学习新单词和句型,尽量做到词不离句,为学生扫清阅读障碍。 。1.Show students the picture of Activity3 and other pictures. Lead the students to describe them and present new words in sentences and teach them as well.2.Have students guess: Look at the picture and guess :What is the boy doing? Whats his hobby?1.Watch and try to describe the pictures and learn some new words . 2.Guess what Davids hobby is.合作交流让学生带着任务(问题)去阅读课文,去找答案,有助于学生更加准确地获取细节信息,提高阅读效果和获取细节信息技能。学生通过分层次阅读文章,获取具体信息,把知识点和课文理解在分段学习得以突破。而小组活动能通过学生间的自主、合作学习,让学生充分地实践运用语言,并激发学生创造性思维的发展。1. SkimmingAsk students to skim the passage and find out the main idea of it.2. Scanning(group work)(1)Ask students to scan the passage ,check the true sentences and correct the false ones as well. (2)Call back the answers.3.Careful reading.(1)Paragraph 1:Choose the best answersLet the students read Paragraph 1 in groups of four and find out difficulties.Solve the difficulties.T: Whats Davids hobby? What did he do after he came back from the camp? Lets continue learning Paragraph2& 3.(2)Paragraph 2 &3:Complete the notes in the table after reading Paragraph2 & 3 . Ask a student to be “a little teacher” to check the answers. Let one team students read Paragraph2 & 3 and the other students listen carefully to point out important points.Solve the difficulties.T: We know that writing is one of Davids hobbies.What other things does he like doing? Read Paragraph 4 and find the answer.(3)Paragraph 4: Let the students read Paragraph4 and answer the questions in pairsLet the students ask and answer in pairs to check their answers.Ask a group of six students to read paragraph 4.
