Greeting each other.2. T:Today we will continue to study U5-Why do you like pandas?First,Id like to show you some interesting sentences about animals.Can you guess the meanings? Show four proverbs ,and ask students to guess.(设计意图:通过运用有关动物类的谚语,提升学习英语的趣味性,并引入到探究动物和其描述词的应用这一话题。)Step. warming up and learning 1. Show pictures of animals ,ask students to give some description words ,then give them more choices to describe the animals.2. Finish 1a(Match the description words with the animals.)(设计意图:通过图片展示动物的同时引导学生用到合适的修饰词来造句,复习到了Section A的目标词汇,同时给了学生连词成句的训练。另外给出学生更多的可以用上的形容词进行拓展,满足不同层次学生的知识需求。1a则作为练习。)Step. Listening and speaking1. T:The answers in 1a are our feeling of the animals ,but different people may have different opinions.Now ,Mary and Tony are talking about the animals in 1a.What are their opinions?Listen for 3 times,the first time finish 1b and the second time、the third time finish 1c.2. Discuss the answers of 1b 3. Report 1c 1)Ask students to give report about Mary and Tonys opinions . 2)T:Tony thinks elephants are lazy, do you agree with him?I disagree with him, because I hear the story of elephants.Do you want to listen the story?Listen.4.Listen 2b for twice and choose the best title.(设计意图:为了增加听力训练的难度,利用2b的阅读材料改变为听力题目,对于基础较好的学生来说是一大挑战,基础一般的学生即使不能全部听懂也可以当做预热,为第四课时的阅读与写作教学做铺垫。)Step. Pair workT:There are so many animals in danger now,like pandas,tigers,lions and so on,we have to save them.Do you know something about them ?Talk about the animals you know with your partner.You can make the conversation like 1d.Three minutes later, ask some students to give a show.Praise the one who did best.And give more information about the animals.(设计意图:提醒学生在pair work时应用到本单元的句式“ What animals do you like?”“I like.”和“Why?”“Because they are.”,巩固教学重点;课外知识的补充让学生思维更加开阔,也更贴近实际生活;生生交流,使课堂变得更加生动,同时让学生变得更加自信。)Step. Conclusion and HomeworkT:I like these animals,because they are cute ,because they are smart ,because the animals are our friends, we should protect them.Dont you like them?Watch the video.Finish 2a,check the animals that you think are in great danger.(设计意图:通过使用because句型进行总结,希望学生在观看
