青场中学2017年春季学期公开课教案 授课教师: 郑 琴 地 点:七星关区青场中学 时 间:2017年5月25日 Unit 2 What time do you go to school?Section A (1a-1c)Teaching aims:1. Language goals:1) Master some new words and phrases:get up, get dressed, tooth (pl. teeth) brush teeth, take a shower, usually, forty, fifty, oclock ect. Important sentence structures: What time is it? Its 10:30.What time do you usually get up? I usually get up at six thirty. When does Rick go to school? He usually goes to school at seven oclock. 2) learn one of times expressions & “what time/when” questions.2. Ability goals: 1)Enable Ss to use the expressions and the “what time” questions to communicate with others by pair working. 2)Improve the Ss speaking and listening abilities by listening to the tape recorder. 3. Emotional goals:1) Learn to arrange time for study and rest to form a good habit through talking with each other.2) Improve the classs cooperation spirit by working in pairs and groups and enjoy their planning study life. Key points: 1. Master the important vocabulary and one simple expression of time. 2. Learn to use some phrases and “what time” questions to express their own idea.Difficult points: Enable Ss to use the expression of time and the “what time” questions to communicate with others.Teaching methods: Listening, pair work , group work, ask and answerTeaching aids: PPt , tape-recorder , pictures , objectsTeaching procedures: . Warming-up and revision 1. Greet the Ss as usual. 2. Count numbers from 1 to 12 together and keep on counting numbers till the Ss cant speak numbers in English. 3. Then teach some new numbers and one expression of time. Lead-in Show a clock made of paper to the class to read more time and master the way of expressing time. Show the question on PPT: What time is it ? Its nine oclock. (practice more with the paper clock.) Show a picture to lead into todays topic. Presentation Step 1 Show some pictures to learn some words and phrases Do the exercise in 1a. Step 2 Use the paper clock to practice important sentences. T: I get up at 6:00. What time do you usually get up? S1:I usually get up at. S2:I usually get up at . . Step 3 Listening Let the Ss get through the picture and activities quickly. Listen to the tape-recorder and pay attention to the activities and time. Write down the activities numbers by the right clocks.& Check. Step 4 Activity 1 (Pair work to practice) According to the pictures and the information on the screen,practice the sentence structures: -What time/ When do you usually .? -I usually . At. Work in pairs to talk about their own schedules. Step 5 Activity 2 (Pair work to practice) Show some pictures to practice the sentence structures: -What time does . Usually.? -(She/He.)usually .at. Use the same way to Activity 1 to talk about others schedules. Step 6 Conclusion(Group work) Let Ss discuss with their teammates about what weve learned today. Ask some Ss to share their answer and complete. Step 7 Emotional teaching Famous saying: Time is your fortune, efficiency is your life. So matter what you do, try your best to do it well and on time.Homework: 1. Use the expressions weve learned today to practice after class. 2.
