Greet the class as usual and check their homework.2. Let Ss look at the screen and ask them what kind of books they like?Step 2: presentation1a. 1.let Ss to have a look at the six pictures and what they can see in the picture and what people are doing.ask them to have a discussion in pairs. After that, lead students to read the name of each book and guess their meanings. Ask students to match the name of each book with the right picture. Check answers together.1b. read the instruction and point to the chart. Invite a student to read out the two sentences. Then play the tape twice. the first time, Ss only listen. The second time, they listen and complete the chart. Check the answers together.1c.Invite a pair of students to read the sample conversation to the class and explain two words yet and already. 2a & 2b first, lead Ss to read the instruction to know what to do and how to do them. Then give Ss two minutes to have a quick look at the phrases and the sentences. After that, play the tape, Ss will finish the exercise. Check the answers2c read the instruction to the class, and ask a pair of students to read out the sample conversation. have Ss make new conversation as required. Give them five minutes to practice, as they work, move around to check their progress. Finally, invite some pairs to act out for the whole class.2d give Ss some minutes to read the conversation. Pay attention to their pronunciation and intonation. after that, invite a student to retell what Amy and Steve are talking about. Lead Ss to read the conversation sentences by sentence. Explain some difficult language points together.Step 3
