Presentation(1) Get to know the place called Sunvillie, learning the different fun places here by using the sentence: On Main Street/ Center Street lies and it is a place where we can get money/ get information about the town/ get a pair of shoes, post a letter/ get a dictionary/ have dinner/ buy newspapers/department store(2) Learn to ask for directions: If the woman wants to go to one of these places, what would she ask: Could you (please) tell me where the restroom is? / Could you (please) tell me how to go to the nearest restroom?/ Could you (please) tell me whether/if there is a restroom near here/around here?/ Could you (please) tell me I can get to?Step 3. Listening 1b:(1) Listen for the general idea and answer: a. Whats the relationship between the speakers? b. Why are they having these conversations? C. Where do they want to go? And why do they want to go there? (when checking the answers, teach: ask for and give directions/ bookstore)(2) Listen for specific information:a.
