(Friday).”进行语言交际,了解对方最喜欢一周中的哪一天。3、能掌握句型“My favorite day/color/number/ is ”, 4、能认读句子:Close/Open your eyes. I hate (pink). (Emma) hates(pink). (Pink) is my favorite color.She paints a (red budgie) on (Monday).教学难点1、七个星期单词的拼写。2、能认读句子:She paints a (red budgie) on (Monday).并学唱相关歌曲。学情分析1、学生已熟练掌握的单词有:open, close,budgie, frog, fish, dog, cat, rabbit.2、学生已掌握的短语及句型有:Open/close Whats your favorite?3、The days of the week是本学期的第五单元的内容。该内容虽然与学生的日常生活息息相关,但这七个星期单词对他们来说却是第一次接触,因此学起来会相对比较困难和枯燥。4、在本单元的教学中句子Whats your favorite day?是一个教学重点,但由于学生在本册书的第二单元Colors中学过相关句子:Whats your favorite color?, 因此本单元中的句子Whats your favorite day?只是对Whats your favorite?一个延伸和扩展,有了前面的基础学生学习起来相对来说较容易。课时划分课时安排:(共六课时)第一课时:part 1 and part 2第二课时:part 3 and part 4第三课时:part 5 第四课时:part 6 and part 7第五课时:part 8 and part 9第六课时:复习本单元并完成单元检测Unit 5 The days of the weekLesson 1教学内容:Unit 5 Part 1、2教学目标:1、知识与技能: a. Let the pupils learn to use the words of the days of week. b. Let the pupils learn to say the chant. c. Let the pupils listen to people in different situations on the cassette and decide which picture goes with situation (listening for gist). 2、过程与方法: 通过直观情景教学法、游戏、小组竞赛、TPR等多种教学形式让学生对星期单词有一个整体的认知,激发学生对单元学习的兴趣。3、情感态度价值观: 让学生了解有关星期的知本识,体验东西方文化的不同。教学重点:Let the pupils learn to use the words of the days of week.教学难点:1. Sat.教学过程:一、Warming-up& Revision1、Greetings2、Show a calendar ,learn the word “week” and write the topic. 3、Teach to read the topic of Unit 5.二、Presentation1、T shows someday of calendar like this:2008月日MondaySay: Today is Monday.(Show the cards “Monday” and stick it on the Bb.2、T teach pupils to read the word.3、Ask Ps to read it one by one . (T write Mon . on the Bb)4、Introduce all the other days of the week in this way.5、Practice to say the seven words: MondaySunday.a. Pupils read the seven words together after the T. b. T points to one of the words, Ps say in English quickly. c. Play a game: Whats missing?T takes out a card and let the Ps guess What is it?(group match)d. T says out the day of a week, Ps say out the later day or the former day of it .(At first T says, then a pupil)e. Ps say from Monday to Sunday quickly.三、Listen and say the chant.1、With the book closed, say and play the chant with teacher .2、Looking at the text ,listen to the cassette two or three times.3、T says the word ,the pupils do the action.4、The pupils learn to say :Saturday,1,2,3.Sunday,come with me.5、Listen to the chant several times and let pupils say it followed by the cassette.6、Asking for some volunteers to repeat the chant along with the cassette.7、The whole class repeat the chant along with the cassette.四、Listen and say the number.1、The pupils talk about the day they like, then show the words, and draw some picture they doing in that day. 2、Ps open their books at P44,T talks to them in mother tongue about the importance of understanding the gist of a message from the tone of voice, the modulation and by connecting images and sounds.3、Play the cassette once. Pupils open their books at P45 and introduce the four children, pupils read after the T.b. Read out the three days beside each picture. c. Listen to the cassette and try to understand Claire ,Diana ,Bob and Franks favorite days.
