Whose dog is it? 教学设计The fifth period 铜陵市东山小学 蔡娴娟一、教学目标:(一)知识目标1能听、说、读、写单词climbing, jumping, drinking, eating, sleeping, playing.2能够在语境中正确运用这六个单词、感知语义及语用情境。(二) 能力目标1. 能在真实的情境中正确运用上述单词;2. 培养学生学习英语的兴趣和小组合作意识。(三)情感目标培养学生热爱自然保护动物的意识。二、教学重难点:1重点是掌握动词climb、jump、drink、eat、sleep和play的ing形式,并用现在进行时进行简单的表达。2难点是能够运用现在进行时来描述正在发生和进行的事情。三、教学准备:单词卡片、动物图片、PPT课件等。四、教学过程:Step Warm up Lead in:1. Greeting:2. 播放歌曲Old Macdonald had a farm。3. Free talk: what animals do you know? Ss: dog, pig, giraffe, kangaroo, monkey, cow, horse, bear, sheep, deer, camel, wolf, lamb, fox, ant, koala, cat Oh, you know so many animals, wonderful boys and girls!Step Presentation:Now, well learn Unit 5 Whose dog is it? (贴课题,读题)根据贴课题上的那只小狗,问他们是否喜欢动物,创设去动物园看动物的情境1. (课件出示猴子),T: Whats it? Ss: Its a monkey. (贴图) Yes, and the monkey can 动作引出单词climb, 利用词卡带读climb.课件出现猴子爬树及句子T: What is it doing? 呈现句子:Its climbing. 同时说出来。并借助词卡,读climbing,然后带读句子,再贴词卡。T: 做攀爬的动作I am climbing. 指着屏幕上的猴子说 The monkey is climbing. 同时呈现此句子。师做动作:climbing, climbing, the monkey is climbing.带读:The monkey is climbing. 请学生读此句型。2. T: Oh, look at me.(做动作) What am I? Ss: rabbit. 贴图。Ok, and the rabbit can Ss: jump 词卡jump 同时屏幕出现jump, 读单词。课件呈现跳动的兔子及Look at the rabbit. T: What is it doing? 呈现:It is jumping. 词卡读jumping. 贴词卡。呈现:The rabbit is jumping. 并带读此句型。(小组读此句型) You read: “jumping, jumping, jumping” You read: “The rabbit is jumping”, ok? Ok, one, two, go! 之后Exchange. 之后请学生读: The rabbit is jumping.3.Ok, now, look at me again. 做大象的动作,贴图。呈现大象喝水的图片,T: The elephant is thirsty, it wants to drink. 屏幕出现:drink, 词卡读单词。T: What is it doing? 引导学生回答:It is drinking.课件出示句子: Its drinking. 词卡读drinking, 贴词卡,呈现句子: The elephant is drinking. 带读句子。小组读句子。传声筒读法。之后请学生读句子。4. 呈现小狗啃骨头的图片,T: Whats this? Ss: Its a dog. 贴图。T: The dog is hungry, it wants to eat. 词卡读eat 课件呈现句子Is the dog drinking? 引导学生回答: No. It is eating. 词卡读eating. 贴词卡。读句子: Its eating.5. 呈现老虎睡觉的图片,T:Wow, tigers-the king of animals. 贴图, T: And these tigers are so tired, they need to sleep. 词卡读sleep 课件呈现句型:Are these tigers eating? 引导学生回答:No. Theyre sleeping. 词卡读sleeping. 贴词卡。读句子:Its sleeping. 6. 呈现小猫玩耍的图片, T: Look! Here are cats. 呈现句型:Are these cats sleeping? 鼓励学生说出:No. Theyre playing. 利用词卡老师补充PPT并呈现:No. Theyre playing with each other.7. 听课文录音,模仿其语音语调。8. 跟同桌操练对话。Step Practise: 1.T: Ok, now, I say climb, you say climbing. 2. Maybe were a little tired, now, lets chant:Climbing, climbing, the monkey is climbing.Jumping, jumping, the rabbit is jumping.Drinking, drinking, the elephant is drinking.Eating, eating ,the dog is eating.Sleeping, sleeping, the tigers are sleeping.Playing, playing, the rabbits are playing.3. Pair work: Make dialogues(出示一些动物图片和关键词)大象,drink, walk 鸭子,eat, swim 老虎,sleep, runeg: Are these elephants drinking?No. Theyre walking.第二遍(chant it with music)Step ConsolidationGroup work :Make sentences (课件分三类出示一些关键词,看看谁的句子最滑稽。)eg: My father is eating in the washroom.Name Doing things PlaceChen Jie eating classroom Sarah sleeping bedroomMy mother drinking washroomMY father reading a book doing homeworkThe monkeys listening to musicplaying football Step Homework1. Read and remember the words and sentences.2.Please go to the zoo with your friends and write down what are the animals doing. 板书设计Reflection: 这是一节词汇课,课前我制作了一些词卡、动物卡,设计了一个与本课内容契合的课题,这不仅辅助了教学,也调动了学生学习英语的积极性,符合五年级学生的认知水平。本课主要学习了六个
