Unit 7 Its raining (Section B period one) (教案)Teaching Objectives:(1) Language Objectvives :To learn key vocabulary of weather: dry, cold, warm, cool, hot. To Listen and talk about the weather. To learn to ask and answer the question: how is it going?(2) Ability Objectives : To master the topic of weather , key words and sentences.(3) Moral Objectives : To develop students ability of listening and speaking. To learn to communicate with others.Teaching Key Points : (1) Words: cool, warm, hot, cold, dry.(2) Sentences : Whats the weather like in./How is the weather in./Its cold/warm/cool/hot/dry./How is it going?Teaching Important Points : To communicate with others by using what they have learnt.Teaching Procedures : Step 1 : Review. What is the weather like?/How is the weather? It is raining/rainy. It is snowing/snowy. It is sunny. It is cloudy. It is windy.Step 2 : Lead-in. Play a vedio: let it go. It is snowy.And it is cold.Step 3: Look some pictures, in the first picture,what is the weather like? We can see the dry ground. So the weather is dry. In the second picture, we can see wonderful waterfall. And the weather there must be cool. In the third picture, rape flowers are yellowing the fields. So it is spring. And the weather is warm. The last picture , it is winter, so it is cold. From cold, cool, warm, to hot. Read after the teacher.Step 4: Turn to page 40, match the words with the pictures. Then the teacher ask the students to check the answer. How is the weather? It is snowing and cold. It is cloudy and cool. It is windy and dry. It is sunny and warm or hot. It is raning and cool.Step 3 : Pair work. How is the weather? It is warm. What is he or she doing? Encourage students to guess what are they doing. Step 4 : Look at 1c. Pre-listening. There are two persons, Mary and Eric. They are taking on the phone. While-listening.Firstly, you need to answer three questions, Why is Mary calling Eric? Where is Mary? What is Eric doing? Secondly, listen and write what Mary and Eric answer to How is it going? Thirdly, listen and write what are you doing and How is the weather? Post-listening Read after the radio.Step 5 : Role-play a conversation between Mary and Eric. Step 6 : Challenge: CCTV weather report. Let students play a role as a weather reporter. Give students three minutes to prepare it. Then ask students to show their report. For example, hello everyone, I am going to
