T:All of them help us to understand the passage better. What can they tell us? Tell the story. In Chinese, it means Ss:围绕中心,叙述故事T:Tell the feeling. Whats the meaning of it in Chinese? Ss:透露主旨,贯穿全文T:Tell the theme. In Chinese, what does it mean?Ss:紧扣中心,升华主题T:Tell the topic. In Chinese, it means Ss:引出话题,点明中心T:But which one can tell us the story? Which one can tell us the feeling? Which one can tell us the theme? Which one can tell us the topic? Please talk about it in groups of four and match them together. (给学生1-2分钟讨论时间)Excuse me. What can title tell us? Its very important for a passage. (写板书,贴画-Title) Whats the title of this passage? Ss:Sunshine. T:What can a title tell us? Ss:It can tell us the feeling. T:For a title, it usually has two kinds of meanings. Skin meaning and true meaning. What does skin meaning mean? Ss:表层含义。T:What does true meaning mean? Ss:深层含义。T:Read the two meanings of this title, which is the skin meaning? And which is the true meaning? S1:(朗读含义A)S2:(朗读含义B)T:Which is the skin meaning? Ss:No. B. T:Which is the true meaning? Ss:No. A. PPT 18 T:A title is like eyes. What about the beginning? Its like the head of the passage.(写板书,贴画-Beginning)Lets look at the beginning part. What can a beginning tell us? Ss:Tell the topic. Lets look at the ending part.(写板书,贴画- Ending)An ending tells us something from three levels. Level 1: Conclude the story. Ss:总结全文T:Level 2: Deepen the story. Ss:深化主题T:Level 3: Sublimate the theme. Ss:升华主题PPT 20T:What can the beginning part do? It can reveal the main idea. What does it mean? Ss:揭示中心T:What can the ending part do? It can closely link to the main idea. What does it mean? Ss:紧扣中心T:Whats the main idea of this passage? Ss:Never-give-up attitude. T:Why does Yang Guang have the never-give-up attitude? (Whats in his heart?)Ss:Because there is sunshine in his heart. T:How do you we know there is sunshine in his heart? Ss:Things he did. His never-give-up attitude. Sentences about “sunshine”. T:All of these go around the maid idea. What does it mean? Ss:围绕中心T:This is the body part. Lets know something about it. (写板书,贴画- Body)PPT 21T:Please read the body part and then fill in the blanks. (给学生2分钟阅读,并完成表格)Ss:学生齐答1,2两个问题学生分别答3-6问题T:Well done. Also, we can find something interesting about these words. All of them begin with letter “W” or “H”. We can give them a name - 5W1H. They are six factors of the narration. In Chinese, what does it mean? Ss:记叙文的六要素T:Please remember them; they are useful when we write a narration. PPT 22 T:What is 5W1H? Ss:They are what, who, where, when, why and how. T:What can they tell us? What is “who”? Character. Ss:人物T:What is “what”? Event. Ss:事件T:What about “when”? Time. Ss:时间T:What about “where”? Place. Ss:地点T:How about “why”? Cause. Ss:起因T:The last one “how”. Course and result. Ss:经过和结果T:5W1H go around the main idea. PPT 23T:How do they go around the main idea? Lets find the answer. Whats the title of the passage? Ss:Sunshine. T:Whats the main idea of the passage? Ss:Never-give-up attitude. T:We can see some phrases about time. Please find them and read them one by one. What is the first one? Ss:In 1979. T:What are the others? Ss:At the age of 8 months, when he was very young, at the age of 7, in 2010. T:All of these times go from the farthest to the nearest. They go in the time order. In different times, Yang Guang did different things, and we can find some sentences about “sunshine”. In 1979, what did he do? Ss:In 1979, he was born in Harbin. He was the sunshine of the family. T:At the age of 8 months, what did he do? Ss:At the age of 8 months, he couldnt see anything. The sunshine ran. T:When he was very young, what did he do? But she never gave up and had never-give-up attitude. At last, she succeeded. She doesnt have arms, but she can succeed. Why? Because she has invisible wings. What does “invisible” mean?
