Teaching design for Oxford English (Shanghai Edition) 5B Module 3 Unit 3 ChangesPeriod 4 Changes in Shanghai Teachers: Jenny 金莹 Materials:Oxford English (Shanghai Edition) 5B M3 U3 Changes in Shanghai Date: 2013-06 -05Teaching aids: Multi-media, word cards一、模块教学目标5BM3的学习主题为Things around us。本模块涉及到日常生活中常见的一些标记,描述天气的单词,以及日常生活中的常用家具等。本模块涉及到的句型包括用What does this sign say? It says . What does this sign mean? It means . 对一些标记进行简单的介绍,用What is / was the temperature? 询问某日的气温并能进行相应的回答等。本模块的时态主要是进一步复习和巩固一般过去时和一些情态动词(如can, must, should等)的用法。本模块从身边的事物为出发点,以“标记”,“天气”和“变化”为话题展开学习内容,不仅注意到了新旧知识的有机整合,而且对学生的语言能力提出了更高的要求,进一步从听说读能力的培养转向听、说、读、写、练、用的全面兼顾。二、单元教学目标第三单元以“变化”为话题,要求学生能掌握表示家具的相关单词(如cupboard, bookshelf, lamp等);能用相关的句型进行相互问答(如:Whats different? The chair was under the window. Now its near the sofa.);能运用如There be/ To be/ To have等句型描述我们所生活的城市-新上海和老上海的变化。经过这一单元学习引导学生能学会细心观察生活周围事物的变化,以及感受这些变化给生活带来的乐趣和便捷。三、单元教学计划课时词汇学习运用句型学习运用综合运用能力第一课时 Important Chinese Festivals学习核心词汇理解词汇理解词汇:cupboard, bookshelf, bed, mirror, lamp, cushion, sofa正确使用核心句型There beWhats different?The was/were Now its/theyre 1. 能学习和掌握家具类单词,如:cupboard, bookshelf, bed等,做到音、形、义的统一;2. 能运用There be句型的正确时态和方位介词对房间内的家具陈设的变化进行描述;3.能运用Whats different? The was/were Now its/theyre 问答句对房间内家具陈设的变化进行询问和回答。第二课时The Double NinthFestival1. 巩固第一课时核心词汇2. 学习词汇:surprise, move, furniture, next to巩固第一课时核心句型准确使用句型:Lets move the furniture! Lets put the sofa under the window.1. 能运用There be句型的正确时态和方位介词对房间内的家具陈设的变化进行描述;2. 能运用Lets表达说话者的意愿; 3. 能在理解短文内容的基础上熟练朗读。第三课时The Spring Festival巩固第一、二课时核心词汇理解词汇:surprised, look different, change, else, again, remember, next to1. 巩固核心句型。1. 能运用方位介词描述房间内家具前后变化所在的位置;2。能综合运用核心句型,熟练朗读角色话语,尝试进行角色扮演;第四课时Our favourite Chinese Festival1. 理解词汇:village, town, city, Shanghai History Museum, from other places, from other countries 2.了解一些动词的过去的变化: become-became, come-came, 1. 能准确使用There was/were和There is /are 。1. 学习、感受如village, city等和上海新旧变化相关的词汇;2. 能熟练朗读课文;3. 能运用核心句型结合正确的时态较流利的介绍上海的新旧变化。第五课时单元复习 第 四 课 时一、学情分析二、教学目标1. 能掌握理解新单词village, town, city, the Shanghai History Museum,from other places, from other countries.2能用There be 句型的过去时表达上海过去的情况,能用There be句型的一般现在时描述上海现在的情况。3. 阅读短文,理解大意。 通过文本的学习,了解上海的变化,并能说出几条上海的变化。4通过比较了解上海的巨大变化。感受上海新,老文化的交汇和融合,体验上海“海纳百川,有容乃大”的城市精神。 三、文本内容主文本200 years ago, Shanghai was a small village. There were not many people here. Many of them were fishermen and farmers. There were some huts. There were some boats and carts. 80 years ago, Shanghai became a town. Many people from other places came to Shanghai. Many of them were businessmen and workers. There were some Shikumen houses. There were some bicycles, cars and trams. Now Shanghai is a big modern city. Many people from other countries come to Shanghai. They do different jobs. There are a lot of tall buildings. Learn the words : village Try to read the passage and ask the questionsFill in the blanks about 200 years ago通过听音频,看图片,读语段了解上海在200年前人,职业,居住,交通等方面的情况。回答问题用关键词填空。3.Read: A prosperous town3.
