Yes, you must. /Yes, you have to.是的,你必须回答。/是的,你得回答。/No, you neednt.不,不必了。 need 作为实意动词有人称和数的变化,后面接名词、代词、动名词以及带to 的动词不定式;可用于肯定句、疑问句和否定句中。e.g.: She needs help. 她需要帮助。 I dont need to see the doctor. 我不需要看病。 Do you need to go at once? 你需要马上走吗? Yes, I do. / No, I dont. 是的,我得马上走。/ 不,不用马上走。回顾dare的用法: dare 可用作实意动词和情态动词,用作情态动词时,意思是“敢”,其后接动词原形,通常只用于否定句或疑问句以及if或whether之后,一般不用于肯定句:e.g.: Dare you tell her the truth? 你敢告诉她事实真相吗?I dont know whether he dare try. 我不知他是否敢试一试。I darent ask her for a rise. 我不敢要求她加薪。 dare 用于实意动词时,意为“敢于”,可用于各类句型(肯定句、否定句、疑问句及各类从句等),其后多接带to的不定式,有时to也可省去(尤其是在否定句或疑问句),可用于非谓语形式,完成时态等:e.g.: We must dare to think, speak and act. 我们必须敢想、敢说、敢做。I wonder how he dares (to) say such things. 我纳闷他怎么竟敢说出这样的话来。Did he dare (to) tell her? 他敢告诉他她吗?3. Ghan is short for Afghanistan. Ghan是阿富汗的缩写。 be short for e.g.: TV is short for television. be short of= lack ofe.g.: We are short of confidence.She wants to make a cake, but she is short of eggs.4. Please tell me the reason why you miss the plane.T: What are them? Are they the adverbial clause(状语从句), objective clause(宾语从句) or attribute clause(定语从句)? S: They are attribute clause.定语从句,就是用来修饰名词或代词的句子,起到定语的作用,所以叫做定语从句。被修饰的词叫先行词。定语从句不同于单词作定语的情况,它需要放在被修饰的词(即先行词)之后。定语从句一般由关系代词来引导。关系代词必须放在定语从句之首。She is the girl who likes singing. (定语从句,先行词是the girl)限定性定语从句对被修饰的先行词有限定制约作用,使该词的含义更具体,更明确。限制性定语从句不能被省略,否则句意就不完整,例如I met some one who said he know you.非限制性定语从句起补充说明作用,缺少也不会影响全句的理解。在非限制性定语从句的前面往往有逗号隔开,如(1)The house,which I bought last year,has a lovely garden.我去年买的的房子带着个漂亮的花园。(2)This novel, which I have read three times, is very touching. 这本我已经读过三遍的小说很感人T: Right.
