No, it isnt .Its Tina .Tina is taller than Tara. And she sings also more loudly than Tara.2)Both Sam and Tom can play the drums , but Sam plays them better than Tom.3)Tara works as hard as Tina .3)能正确使用形容词和副词的比较级。4)能在语言运用中注意语音语调和句子的重音。2.技能目标: 1)能够听懂有关人物对比的对话,并能用英语谈论、描述人物特征,对人物进行比较并给出正确判断。2)能读懂有关谈论人物对比的文章,并能用比较级写出有关描写人物的短文。3.情感态度价值观目标: 教会学生在人际交往中要理解和尊重他人;学会交换不同的看法,了解他人的喜好,增进情谊;培养学生健康、活泼和积极向上的人生观。二、教学重难点1. 教学重点:正确使用形容词和副词的比较级。 2. 教学难点:形容词比较级的构成及其变化规则。扎实掌握形容词和副词的比较级并能灵活运用。 三、教法学法教法:创设较为真实的语言环境,情境教学,先输入后输出,任务型教学。学法:小组合作学习四、教学过程. Lead-in 1. 创设情景,首先欣赏一个简短的“猫和老鼠”的视频,进行头脑风暴,进而再以视频中出现的比较级句子引入本课的几个重点单词与短语: taller heavier run faster than。2. 学生根据视频图片信息理解板书句型的意思。在朗读这几个句型的时候,让学生对比较级的构成有初步了解,结识“than”。. Presentation1. Show the students some pictures to study more description words and the comparative degree by comparing the famous people.2. Let the students look at 1a , match the word with its opposite. Then check the answer.3. According to the guessing game, the teacher compares herself with two girls in class in order to let the students give correct judgment. Listening 1. T: Now listen to the recording and number the pairs of twins in the picture1-3. Then check the answers with the Ss.2. Then read the tapescript of this part together, pay attention to the comparative forms. Ask and answer with the class to know the conversations better. Pairwork 1. First , the teacher give Ss an example by making the conversation in 1c with one student.2. Have the students work in pairs to talk about the other two pairs of twins.3. Let some pairs act their conversations in front of the class.Expand another pairwork1. Learn more description words on the screen.Ask and answer in pairs to compare yourselves by using these words. Listening Work on 2a: 1. Before listening , let Ss try to fill the chart .Then listen to the recording to check the answer. 2. Use the words to make conversations. Work on 2b: 1. Let Ss read the chart on the screen. Pay attention to: listen and remember, dont write the answers at once when you are listening, after listening, you can write the answers, because it will help you think in English. And when you write answers, you can directly write key words and key phrase.2. Play the recording for the Ss to write the answers in the chart. 3. Check the answers together. Work on 2c 1. Tell Ss , Student A look at the chart on P18. Student B look at the chart on P81.2. To give Ss the opportunity to use the target language in conversations. 3. Ss practice the conversations using the words in the chart. 4. Ask some pairs to act out their conversations. . Groupwork Tell the Ss: its time for acting time.
