Section A 第一课时,本单元要求学生能够运用情态动词could 征询许可及礼貌地提出要求;从词汇角度上说,学生应当较为熟练地运用与家庭活动及家务琐事相关的词汇及表达法;情感方面,本节课主题与学生息息相关,教师应当充分利用话题内容引导学生探索家庭义务的重要性,学生应对独立承担或帮助父母做适当的家务持有积极的态度。二、教学目标:1. 能正确使用词汇和短语: rubbish, fold, sweep, floor,take out the rubbish.2. 能正确使用句型:Could you please .? Could I .?3. 教会学生如何礼貌地与其他人进行交流。三、教学重难点:教学重点: 能够礼貌地提出请求和礼貌地征询许可。教学难点: 能够在口语交际中委婉地表达自己的想法。四、教学工具: 多媒体 课件五、学情分析: 学生处于八年级下学期,已经有一定的英语基础和认知能力。由于本节课内容与学生生活密切相关,因此学生能够积极地参与到课堂活动中来,并且能够学会如何礼貌地提出请求和征询许可。六、教学过程:Part One Lead-inT shows a picture of a dirty room. T: What do you think of the room? Do you want to live in the room?Ss. .T shows a picture of a clean room.T: What about this one? Do you want to live in the room?Ss. . To have a clean room, we have to do chores. “Do chores” means “do housework.”Do you like doing chores? Do you often do chores at home? Now lets look at the chores we can do at home.Part Two Presentation1. T shows some pictures of chores and then read the phrases. do the dishes, take out the rubbish, fold the clothes, sweep the floor, make the bed, clean the living room. Ss then read the phrases together. 2. T: Read and try to remember the phrases by yourself.3. Ss read the phrases one by one.4. Play a game.(1) Each line is a group. Ss read the phrases one by one, then the fastest group is the winner. (2) Show some pictures, but cover a part of them. Then let the Ss guess what they are doing. T: What is he/she doing? Ss: He is _ She is _.3. T assesses Ss performance.Part Three Listening1. T: Peters grandma is coming. So Peter and his mom wants to clean his room. Now lets listen to their conversation. Then finish task 1b. T checks the answers.2. T: Listen to the recording again and fill in the blanks. Ss listen to the recording and fill in the blanks.Mom: Peter, we need to clean the house. Your grandma is coming over at seven.Peter: Sure, but I need to do my homework first.Mom: OK. Then after you finish your homework, lets clean up the kitchen. T: Next day is Sunday. Peter wants to have fun. So he has some plans. He wants to go out for dinner, go to the movies, stay out late and get a ride. Then he talks with his dad to ask for his permission. What does his father say?Check yes or no. Why does his father say no? Draw lines to the reasons in the chart.T checks the answers.2.
