新目标英语八年级(上)Unit 10 If you go to the party, you will have a great party!Section A (1a-2c) 饶平县上饶中学 邱创发一、 学情分析:作为山区农村的学生,首次接触if引导的条件状语从句,在接受上相当困难,这就要求教师在引入的时候要多从学生的角度考虑。根据“Talk about consequences”这一语言目标,鼓励学生展开想象,对某一条件下产生的结果进行大胆的猜测。二、 单元分析:本单元通过“Talk about consequences” 来学习if 引导的条件状语从句,掌握用will 来表示将来的时态,正确使用情态动词should。从学生熟悉的party 出发到对于未来职业选择的探讨,鼓励学生做出自己的决定,并对这一决定所带来的结果进行讨论和评判。该话题贴近学生生活,鼓励学生对未来的生活展开丰富的想象。其中,对于生活中重要内容的探讨和为慈善活动寻找金点子设计海报等不失为德育教育的好素材。本单元的核心语言项目是“Im going to dance with Ann. If you do, youll have a great time. Are you going to the party? You should wear your smart trousers”,主要话题是“Decision making”。Section A 中用”If you do, you will You should”句型及对话来谈论学生熟悉的party,使学生在完成任务的同时学习语言,并培养学生树立正确的人生观。三、 教学目标1、 语言技能目标(1) 能用if 引导的条件状语从句来作出假设,用will 来谈论结果,如:If you do, youll be late.(2) 能用“You should ”提出合理化建议,如: You should wear smart trousers.(3) 能用“I think Ill ”来表达作出的决定,如:I think Ill go to the party with Karen and Anna.2、 语言知识目标(1) 正确运用if 引导的条件状语从句,如:If you do, you will have a great time.(2) 正确运用表示将来时态的句型,如:Im going to wear my new jeans.Are you going to the party? Yes, I am.(3) 运用what对if引导的句子所产生的结果进行提问,如:What will happen if they have the party today?(4) 正确运用情态动词 should,如:You should wear your smart trousers.3、 情感态度目标(1) 本单元 Section A 主要围绕“ party ”展开话题,贴近学生实际生活,可以提高他们的学习兴趣,用英语来表达自己的意愿;(2) 增强面对问题的勇气,培养解决问题的能力,并能为他人提建议;(3) 参与对人生重大事件的讨论,帮助学生树立正确的人生观。4、 文化意识目标了解国外学生在开 party 时应遵守的规则,同时和国内的规则进行比较,了解中西方文化之间的差异。四、 教学重点和难点1、 教学重点(1) 重点单词:meeting, organize, video, chocolate;(2) 重点句型: I think Ill stay at home. If you do, youll be sorry. (3)话题:关于参加party和今后择业的讨论。2、教学难点(1)正确使用if 引导的条件状语从句;(2)掌握用 will 句型来表示将会发生的结果。五、教学方式 任务型教学法六、教学用具录音机、多媒体七、教学过程教学步骤建议与说明Step One: Leading-in1. (Ask one student.)S1:My name is .T: Whats the weather like today?S1:It is .T: When is your birthday?S1:Its T: I want to have a birthday party for you .Would you like to join us?Ss: Yes , wed love to.T: I think if you go to the party, youll have a great time. T: Today we are going to learn Unit 10 If you go to the party, youll have a great time!(Write “Unit 10 If you go to the party,youll have a great time! on the blackboard.)Step Two: New words and drills1. Present the new wordsT: I have a piece of good news. Our school will have a party. I will wear jeans to the party. Whats the meaning of “jeans”?S1: 牛仔裤(Show a picture of a pair of jeans on the screen.)T: Yes, thats right. Read after me, jeans-jeans.T: For example: a pair of jeans, wear jeans. But if I wear jeans to the party, the teacher wont let me in. Whats the meaning of “let in”? (Show letin 允许进入 on the screen.)T: At the party, I will organize the party games. Im sure you will like them and have a great time. Whats the meaning of “organize”?S1: “组织”.(Show “organize”组织on the screen)T: Yes, youre right. Read after me ,organize- organize.Ss: Organize-organize.T: For example, organize the party (games).(Show “organize the party (games)”组织聚会(游戏)on the screen.)2. Present the new drills “If you do , you will do T: It will be sunny tomorrow. (Show a picture of the sun )T: We will have a trip tomorrow. (Show a picture of the trip.)T: So we can say: We will have a trip if it is sunny tomorrow. (Put the two sentences together.)T: Next I often get up at 8:00 on weekends. When do you get up?S1: I get up at 9:00.T: What will happen if you get up at 9:00 on weekdays?S1: If I get up at 9:00, I will be late.T: What will happen if you are late.S1: If I am late, the teacher will be angry with me.T: What will happen if the teacher is angry with you?S1: If the teacher is angry with me, I will be sad.T: Who can know the rule? (Show the four sentences on the screen and then ask the students to find the rules.) S1: if 条件状语从句, 主句用一般将来时,从句用一般现在时。T: In if clause we can use the Simple Present Tense, and we can use the Future Tense in main clause.3. Practice the drills 1) Practice the grammarT: Now lets practice. Look at the picture. I will work late until midnight. (Ask what will happen if I work late until midnight.)S1: You will be tired if you work late until midnight.S2: . (Show another four pictures to practice the grammar in the same way.)2) Pair workT: Look at the following situations. What will happen if you do so? Please ask and answer in pairs. (The students practice in pairs and then the teacher asks some pairs to ask and answer.)Step Three: Listening 1. Listening practiceT: Karen and Anna also want to go to the party with me.
