Unit 8 Is there a post office near here?Period one一、教学目标: 1. 语言知识目标:1) 能掌握以下单词:post, office, post office, police, police station, hotel, restaurant, bank, hospital, street, pay, near, across, across from, front, in front of, behind, 能掌握以下句型:1. Is there a hospital near here? Yes, there is. The pay phone is across from the library. The pay phone is between the post office and the library. 2) 能了解以下语法: Where 引导的特殊疑问句及其答语。学会There is / are。Is/are there.的句型及用法。2. 情感态度价值观目标: 通过运用简单的问路和引路的交际用语,学会相互合作,培养乐于助人的精神。 通过运用问路和引路的交际用语,帮助各个层次的同学树立自信心,敢于用英语进行交际.二、教学重难点1. 教学重点:Where 引导的特殊疑问句。there be 句型的肯定式、一般疑问句及其回答方式。方位介词的用法。2. 教学难点:方位介词的用法。三、教学过程. Lead-in:T: Hello, everyone, first I will show you some pictures and then you should tell me where are the pictures are about .T show the pictures ,and ask T: Where are they ? Ss: They are in Yu Li T: please look at the last picture . Where is it ? Ss: 在银华小区后面。T: Can you say it in English ? Ss: No we cant . T: Dont worry we will learn it .Our hometown is very beautiful and many people come there for the beautiful view.So you may show the way for the tourists .Please be more polite. And I have a piece of news : “Zhao Liying is going to visit our town . She will stay in our town for a few weeks. “Could you show her our neighborhood ?Ss: Yes .(设计意图:创设情景用我们熟悉的环境、话题进行教学,更贴近生活,容易激发学生的学习兴趣,同时也抛下一个问题,如何用英语描述建筑物的位置。也渗透情感教育“爱家乡且做一个有礼貌的孩子”). Presentation:1.T: You want to be a good helper .First you should learn how to say these places in English . Please look at the screen.T Shows the pictures of different places to teach eg:T:Look whats this ?Ss: Its a police station ( T help the Ss answer and teach the new word “police station” )T:There is a police station near here. (Ss read this sentence after the T)Use the same way to show the new words of places in this class.(Ask the Ss pay more attention about the pronunciation of the new words.)2. Show the key sentences “There is a/an . near here . ”“There are some . near here .”3. Let the Ss practice “There be .” (设计意图:图片教学形象生动,且将单词放入句子中进行教学。而不是机械的记忆单词。). Please pay more attention about the stress and intonation.争当模仿达人:听录音并模仿,注意句中重读的单词和一般疑问句的语调。3. T show the key sentences “ Is there a/an . Near here ?自我评价1b:每对一个得一颗 ,拿出学案,请在前面打_ _ _0(come on 加油!)(设计意图:听说训练1、听之前熟悉听到材料,降低听的难度。而教师要教给学生的是听力技巧。所以在听之前告诉学生抓住重点单词和根据说话人的语音语调变化捕捉信息。2、争当模仿达人让学生在读的时候可以有感情地表达,而不是机器人一样的读英语。)V. S1: Youre welcome.Then let the Ss work in pairs 评价标准:1.speak clearly(清晰) 2.speak loudly(大声) 两个小组交换学案,请在横线上打 _fantastic(极好的) _good _fair(一般) _bad(糟糕的)(设计意图:在创设好的情景“赵丽颖要出去散步“”中进行对话,而且给出的是我们生活中熟悉的材料。让学习运用到生活中,可以然学生在课后看到某一地点时会自然地转换到英语模式。同时渗透情感教育“做一个乐于助人的人”。)VI. Check the question:“Where the place in the picture in English ?”Ss: Its . .(设计意图:与第一个说相比难度增加。在学习完本节课的重难点后,用我们生活的地方作为题材,通过综合的说来完成知识的运用。地点、方位介词以及there be 句型都在这个说里面得到锻炼。在最后解决课前抛下的问题:“图中的地点在哪里?”)IX.
