Unit 6 Im watching TV.Section A 1 (1a-2d)一、教材分析:本单元主要围绕“What are you doing?”这一主题展开各种教学活动,并以这一主题引出现在进行时的一般疑问句,否定句以及特殊疑问句等语言功能。本单元旨在创造一个轻松、愉快的学习、交流环境,通过听、说、读、写来培养学生综合运用这些知识的能力。并让学生能在“做中学”(learning by doing),通过有限的课堂实践活动,注意观察别人的行动,能准确地用英语来表达。二、教材的地位和作用:现行的初一英语教材有一个比较明显的编排特点,那就是每单元由Section A , Section B 和 Self Check 三大版快组成,同时每个版快又由a, b , c 三小部分构成,内容循序渐进,符合学生的认知规律,教材又图文并茂,既能吸引学生的注意力,又能激发学生的学习兴趣,每一小部分中的部分又是pairwork,培养了学生的合作意识,每一小部分又有听力训练,培养了学生的听说能力。Section B 中的a, 3b 又能培养学生的读写能力,本单元的综合语言知识能力的运用,又能在此体现出来。Section B中的3c是任务性教学,体现了语言的交际性和实用性。三、教学目标: 1. 语言知识目标:1) 能掌握以下单词: newspaper, use, soup, wash, movie, just 能掌握以下句型: What are you doing? Im watching TV. Whats he doing? Hes using the computer. What are they doing? Theyre listening to a CD. This is Jenny. Its Laura here. 2) 能掌握语法:现在进行时态的用法。3) 能运用所学的知识,描述人们正在干的事情。2. 情感态度价值观目标:通过对本单元的学习活动,能培养培养学生学习英语的强烈兴趣,善于发现生活中正在发生的事情,积极思考,乐于助人,乐于参加各种活动的积极情感,培养学生团结合作的精神。四、教学重难点1. 教学重点:1) 词汇、词组搭配和现在进行时的用法。能用现在进行时的各种形式进行准确的描述和表达正在发生的动作。X k B 1 . c o m2) 能掌握现在进行时态及一些表示具体动作的词组搭配,如: doing homework, using the computer, watching TV, eating dinner 等 2. 教学难点: 现在进行时中现在分词的结构及读音,能在交际中准确地运用现在进行时来描述或表达正在进行的动作。五、教学过程. Warming-up and Lead in (“良好的开端是成功的一半”, 因此,我认为能以一种新颖的问候方式或复习方式进入一节课,就能唤起学生的兴趣,使学生保持一种积极的学习状态,或循序渐进地导入所学的内容,那么可为这节课的成功打下基础,同时也能给自己适当的减压。) T:We are having an English class now. What are we doing now? (Help the students to answer: Were having an English class now.)接下来教师要求几个学生做一些动作,让其他学生用英语来猜测。(目的是为本节课的现在进行时作好铺垫). Presentation1. Show some pictures on the big screen. Present the new words and expressions. 2. Ss watch and learn the new words and expressions.3. Give Ss some time and try to remember the new words and expressions. 4. (Show some pictures on the screen and ask some students to perform the actions.)叫一个学生做刚刚学过的词组的动作,另一个学生问,进行问答练习。 S1: What are you doing now? S2: Im watching TV. (ect.) Talking on the phone / cleaning / using the computer/ect. 这样设计的目的是让学生在交际情景中感受出现在进行时的结构和用法。 . practice1. Work on 1a. Ss read the activities and look at the pictures. Then match the activities with pictures. 2. Check the answers with the Ss.3. Practice Section A (1a) 然后叫学生归纳出现在进行时的结构句型。 主语 + am/ is / are+ 动词的现在分词 (培养学生归纳能力,找出记忆的规律). Listening 1. T: What are Jenny, John, Dave and Mary doing? Now lets listen to the tape, find out the right activities from 1a. 2. Play the recording for the Ss twice.3. Ss listen to the recording and write the numbers from 1a.通过听力训练,现在进行时的结构得以很好的落实. Pair work 1. Ask the Ss to read the conversations in 1c with a partner. Then look at the pictures in 1a. And conversations about other person in the picture.2. Ss make conversations by themselves and practice the conversations. 小组操练的方式为: 1号问,2号答,2号问,3号答.的方式进行,目的是为了让小组的每位同学开口,同时在课堂活动中实行鼓励性评价,对表现的好的小组进行加分机制,能促进学生的竞争意识和学习英语的积极). Listening 1. Work on 2a; T: Jack and Steve are talking on the phone. What are they doing now? Listen to the conversations and match the answers with the questions. (Play the recording for the first time, students only listen carefully. Then, listen to the recording again, and match the answers with the questions. )Check the answers. 2. Work on 2b. Let Ss read the conversation in 2b first. Then play the recording for the Ss twice. The first time Ss only listen and write down the words in the blanks. Then play the recording again for the Ss to check the answers. (If necessary, press the Pause button to help.) . Pair work 1. Now, role-play the conversation with your partners.2. Let some pairs to act out the conversation in front of the class. . Role-play 1. Ask Ss to read the conversation in 2d and answer the questions below. Are Jenny and Laura talking on the phone? (Yes, they are.) Whats Laura doing now? (Shes washing her clothes.) Whats Jenny doing? (Shes watching TV.) When do they meet at Jennys home? (At half past six.) 2. Ss read the conversation and answer the questions above. 3. Check the answers with the Ss. 4. Let Ss work in pairs and role-play the conversation. Homework: 1. Review the words and expressions in this period. 2. Understand the knowledge about the present progressive tense. 3. Make five sentences on what are you doing now. 板书设计:Section A1 (1a-2d)Drills:1.
