Is Tom smarter than Tim? She has much longer hair than Sam. 三、教学过程. Lead-in 1. Listen to the song “The more we get together” to lead to todays saying .T: First, lets divide our class into two groups. Girls are red group and boys are green group. Lets have a look at which group will be the winner. Words (round one)T: Everyone has a friend. This is my friend.What does she look like? Can you describe my friend?S: She has long hair.She is thin. She has long black hair.T: She likes having parties. I think she is outgoing. “outgoing” means . Are you outgoing? Who is outgoing in our class? She likes reading books. So I can say she is hard-working. “Hard-working” means . Are you hard-working? Read the words after me. T: Now look at these words. Tall, thin, long black hair can describe people. Can you descibe the pictures?S: She is tall. She is short. Li Yong is funny and outgoing. He is serious.T: Ok, good. Now tell me the adjective words about appearance and personalities as many as possible. Think about all the adjectives that describe people. For example: tall, havey, thin ,do you understand?S:smart, ugly,shy.T: All of the words can describe the appearance and personalities. Here are some adjective words on P17. Try to finish the task of 1a.T:Lets have a look at the points now. ( boys/girls come on). Grammar (round two)T: Can you describe your classmates? For example, .is funny.S:T: SA is tall. SB is tall, too. Who is taller?S: SA is taller than SB.T: Yes. Sit down.T: Here tall, taller. “taller” means 更高。 OK, good. Now, Lets look at the picture. Who is he?He is very tall. And who is he? He is also tall. So we can say both Yao Ming and Yi Jianlian are tall. But who is taller. Heres the information. Who is taller?S: Yao Ming is taller than Yi Jianlian. Yi Jianlian is shorter than Yao Ming.T:Yes, Yi Jianlian is a little shorter than Yao Ming. Look here. Pay attention to “ a little” 修饰比较级,修饰比较级的还有“a lot, much, a bit, even, far”T:Lets look at another pictures. The girl has long hair. Look at this picture. The girl has much longer hair. Read together.T:Pan Hong is serious. Pan Changjiang is funny. So we can say that Pan Hong is more serious than Pan Changjiang. Pan Changjiang is funnier than Pan Hong. Read them together.T:Whats the boy doing? He is playing the guitar. He plays the guitar well. I think he plays the guitar better than him. Read them together. Whats he doing? He is singing. He sings loudly. I think he sings more loudly.T: loud- loudly quiet-quietly slowslowly quickquickly Look at the oppsite words of loudly is quietly. Translater .他悄悄地离开了教室。S: He left the classroom quietly.T:Read it together. Look at the words. Wellbetter, loudly more loudlyT: Look at the picture. They are running. He runs fast. And he runs faster than him. He jumps high. He jumps higher than hm.T: He gets up at 6 today. And he got up at 8 yesterday. So we can say he gets up earlier than he did yesterday.
