Unit 8 When is your birthday?第一课时 Section A 1a-2e 教学设计随县尚市镇中心学校 李武一、教材分析本单元话题贴近学生生活。第一课时Section A 1a-2e 主要通过听说活动让学生感知When 和How 引导的询问时间和年龄的特殊疑问句，并让他们尝试使用目标句型谈论自己、家人或朋友的生日。1a-1c部分通过图文及听力练习导入整个单元的语境、话题、基本词汇和目标语言。学习12个月份，呈现序数词second, third 和fifth。2a-2e部分的重点是听说教学。本部分的听力材料拓展了1a-1c的语言输入，集中学习序数词1st-31st,掌握一个月中每一天的表达法。引入了询问对方年龄和询问第三方生日的语言结构，同时让学生巩固刚刚学习的日期表达法。活动2d引导学生使用目标语言谈论第三者的生日，为随后总结本单元语言结构打基础。活动2e多项交际功能结合在一起，在真实的语境中再现了目标语言的使用。二、教学内容：1、单词： January, February, March, April, May, June, July, August, September, November , December, birthday2、句型： When is your birthday? It is on October 10th. 2、能力目标能表述和询问自己或家人、朋友的生日。情感目标：3. 情感态度价值观目标：通过对本单元的学习活动，了解朋友及家人的生日，了解庆祝生日的方式，能在家人朋友生日时为他们做点力所能及的事情，构建良好的朋友关系，感恩父母的付出。四、教学重难点1. 教学重点：1）月份和日期的表达法。2）学生在谈论家人或朋友的生日和年龄时，目标句型中人称的转换。2. 教学难点： 日期表达法中涉及到月份和序数词的使用。五、教学过程.
