Today Ill talk about Section A of Unit 6 Im going to study computer science. My presentation consists of 6 parts: analysis of the teaching material, analysis of the students,the teaching methods ,the learning methods,the procedures of the teaching, blackboard design。Part 1 analysis of the teaching material: This lesson is about listening and speaking .It plays a very important part in this unit. By studying Section A ,the students can improve their listening and speaking ability. At the same time, we should get the students to have positive attitude about their dreams. 1 Teaching aimsA)Language goals 1)Words : computer programmer, cook, engineer,violinist, driver, pilot, pianist, scientist Sentences: What do you want to be when you grow up? Im going to study computer science.B)Ability goals Enable the students to talk about their dreams.C) Emotion goalsEnable the students to cooperate and communicate with others.2 Teaching key points The students should master some words about jobs3Teaching difficulties Train the students to use “be going to”correctly. To improve students listening ability.Part 2 analysis of the students The students have learned some words about jobs and they have known the sentence structure” be going to”. But they dont often use English to express themselves. Some students are not active in the class because they are afraid of making mistakes. Part 3 The teaching methodsI will use” Game teaching Task-based teaching cooperative teachingPart 4 The learning methods I will set up a game , ask the students to take part in itPart 5 The procedures of the teaching Step 1 Lead-in Show the students some pictures and review some words about jobsT: Who is he? What does he do? After studying all of the new words, Ill ask two students to act it ,one is acting, and the other guess the jobs. Step 2 Presentation In this part , Ill ask students :Do you think these jobs are interesting? Please rank them (1 is the most interesting, 12 is the least interesting ) and then I will present the sentence structure What do you want to be when you grow up? How are you going to do that? Step 3 Listening Ask the students to listen to Cheng Hans dreams and finish 2a Step 4 speaking Ask the students to work with their partner use the sentence structure “be going to”Step 5 Homework Write a composition “My dream jobs”Part 6 Blackboard designIf you plan to do sth. Use the sentence structure “be going to”Eg Im going to study hard He is going to watch TV They are going to do their homework In my opinion, the blackboard design can reflect the teachers ability of mastering the text and leading the students to master the text easily.At last I want to say In this lesson, I designed some activities to arouse the students interest of st
