Greeting .II. Rivision. What does she/he look like? She/He is tall/of medium height/short. She/He is heavy/of medium build/thin. She/He has short/long hair.III. Teaching of new lesson.1.After revision ,learn the new words calm and wild. And help them to remember easily.2. Finish 1a and check the answer.3.Show the students some pictures to learn the comparative degree, and let them understand how to add r, er, change “y ” into ier and so on. According to the pictures, help them compare people and talk about the sentences.4.Talk about the pictures together in class. The teacher should guide.5.After they can talk ,ask some students stand up in class, and other students compare them according to the teachers actions. Encourage them to talk loudly. Give them good comments. 6.The students work in pairs to compare them with their best friends. 7. Show the three pairs of twins in the book, make them to compare them in class. The teacher should guide. 8. Listen to the tape and finish the listening task, check their answers and correct.9.Go over the whole lesson, and give a summary of the comparative degree. Make them understand the different changes. Then do some practice.Homework:1. Remember the new words on this page.2.
